Dude... In the very fast place... All the 2.40 placed on the glass are for those whom change lower amount of $!!!

Usually they will +0.03 or +0.04 more from the advertised rate on the glass so long you change at least $100 :s8:

Nevertheless, to each his own... Everyone is out for higher rates... So change wherever you're happy.. Case close.. ;)

Yes, i can vouch for u... Tried ur method and indeed i get a much much higher rate..... As long u change above $100....

Yesterday drop inside... 2.42 now... even though glass advertise as 2.39

Same, got it at 242.5 ytd when glass is showing only 2.39, just have ask the person inside nicely...

lot1 4th floor. 241.90

I got 2.425 at JB money changer.... Guess its higher than SG rate??

No point arguing where gives better rate...

We are just sharing to benefit others esp for those who goes in weekly for petrol after the hike of fuel price in SG recently... ;)

hi bbmars, i am wondering, have u tried asking at merlin tower? to be exact, the changer near the escalator.

Only tried once early last year. Wasn't changing much, so didn't really bother about the difference. But I am not sure why most of last year when I change, the rate tended to be better in SG than in JB, same as in KL. I thought it used to be better changing in JB. Only time just a different of one night, changing in SG and than use SG$ purchase stuff at Tesco to get RM was higher than SG and most places in JB.

My former colleague's wife works in a financial firm, she gets very good rate, by how much I don't know, didn't want to know, but definitely far better than any money changer. However, didn't want to trouble my former colleague even though we still are JB shopping kaki once a month.
