My Enquiry
I noticed my transaction had been delayed due to your system. And i was given a lower exchange rate at 2.965 for SGDMYR. I was exchanging at 3.006 rate. May I know why my transaction had been delayed? Does the bank suppose to follow the rate from when I made my remittance?

Hi, i had made an online remittance to Malaysia a/c yesterday with an amount of SGD3,326 or equivalent to MYR10,000 at yesterday rate on around 12.12am. My transaction will be usually completed within next working day. However, my aforementioned transaction is yet to complete. I have attached the photo here together with this message. Thanks

What time did u make your DBS remittance? It will be same transfer if the remittance was made before 2.30pm.

Their website advertises "locked-in FX rate", but the actual transfer turns out to be based on a different rate.

The SGD1 = MYR3 rate is standard since yesterday June 22 2016. i think its getting lower, probably due to the upcoming monthend and Raya Holiday.

Paya Lebar Square basement1, i booked a change. Rate is $1 = RM3.001

the trend looks to be going up, currently it is still at the uptrendline.
but because of the upcoming Raya, the ringgit likely would be stronger as many people wanna holiday there.

Still same day?

I thought now there is a notice that due to the recent phone scams, the funds will be available on the next business day.
