At Chinatown this morning, change Rm500 at $203.42 ~ $2.4579

Thursday change at TESCO, 244. However, my colleagues who paid for his goodies bought gave them extra and he got the extra changes into RM.

So if you are in JB somewhere near TESCO, try changing it there instead. Rates are better than in SG I believe.. highest I got was 3 weeks back 247
