Damn it!!! I just realised i was given short of 10 pieces of the 50ringgit notes which is about 200 SGD!!! When i changed 400SGD to ringgits, the changer at arcade count 11 pieces of the big notes in the counting machine and i subconciously thought that it is 100 ringit notes and should be thereabout and correct and gave another 2 ringgits to make it to a total of 1052. Now then i realised i got only 11 pieces of the 50 ringgit notes which means only 600 ringgits in total! I guessed it will not be possible to get back the missing 10 pieces of 50ringgit notes. Guys, just be wary and will not get into the same **** as me.

Like that how to bang table, i had to admit some fault for not checking and counting the notes myself. Of course if the changer is honest enough and when they do their daily accounting they would have notice they had 200SGD extra in their account book and they would believe it is also an error in their part

I dont think its appropriate to name the changer, i think its probably an error on the uncle whose math failed and thus only gave me 11 pieces of the notes. I tried to call them this morning but it seems they are not opened hence no one answering.

Receipt writes the correct amount but they give you wrong amount of ringgit ?

it is bad, am going to try going down to the shop now to see if they would check and pay me the missing notes but it does not look promising though that they would want to bother to check and entertain me at all.

If they've done a check last night at closing time and discovered some extras that match your claim, I think you'll have a good chance of getting the amount back. I'm not sure how (presuming they do) these money changers do their end-of-day closing, though. Good luck!
