What is the best way to close the apps? I close them by pressing on the bottom right corner to show the tasks and swipe the task to the left one by one.

this way is correct. When u close the app by pressing the home(middle) button, the apps just got suspended and goes into the list. So if u want to resume say a game, just press the right button to bring up the list of recent apps and the game will continue from there.

However if you swipe it, it will fully close the app. So if you open it again, the app will load from start. Try it wih a game and you will see what i mean.

PACE Router rebooted

looking fwd to your update then thanks!

To all who are also affected, I have tested yesterday and sadly the problem still happened. Called singtel and they told me that this is a already a known issue and arranging someone to replace my, already replaced, router, this Saturday.

Hope for the best.:)

Android OS will automatically close/freeze background apps. You can actually cause more harm than good with task killers.

I read about ICS OS, and task killer is not really necessary. If i don't close those application manually it will still in the "running" process and sucking up the battery

Yes. Do take note that if you keep closing the commonly used apps and later you launch it again later, it is actually draining more battery by doing so.

It will be good to practice killing those apps which you will not want to use for the day instead of clearing all apps at one shot.

For the bros who have invested in a microSD card to store HD content on the phone, especially full length movies, you may have been disappointed to find that you can only format the microSD card in FAT32, thus having the 4gb filesize limitation which a lot of HD files far exceed.

However, I chanced upon this mod at XDA which actually allows you to format your card to exFAT: [MOD] exFAT support for Xperia Z(non-Japanese verisons) - xda-developers

Now I can throw everything on my 64gb microSD without any limitations. :)

Like other bros have noted, please format your card using your phone for the first time, then format it to exFAT using this mod. Should work like a charm!

Anybody tried the mod?
