You can also stream your photo or video via DLNA by connecting your internet tv and phone to the home network then you can access your phone contents via your internet tv.

2013 sony tvs wil come with mhl feature.. U can do screen mirroring on it..

samsung's one is better because i can watch fullscreen halfway and switch to small window if i need to read whatsapp or whatever

and switch back to fullscreen when i'm done

altho this smallapp allows us to select the list of videos, the controls cannot be hidden and takes up too much screen estate


other apps like MoboPlayer also have Samsung's function of small video
however i am inclined to use the default sony player because it uses the bravia engine

Ha ha. Then you do not need even the multi-window, just watch the video in full screen then press the right button and switch to your whatsapp full screen, switch back after that.

For small apps, you can resize any small apps easily and adjust to any part of the screen while you cannot shift the app in multi window to any part of the screen.

Importantly, you cannot install any new apps from the market for Samsung multi window while small apps allow you to do so. Some small app which is useful is the camera for small app unless you tell me that Samsung has that for multi window.

But someone posted here before saying that need to change whole lcd panel if you want the anti shatter film at Sony service Centre.

It's a bit crazy to change whole lcd for just that shatter film.

Maybe can go test out both units 1st then decide? I got the XZ cuz I don't like the power button of One. Not enough "click" to it. Feels like I have to press down quite hard. But the feel of the One is pretty good though.

For the 40 dollar plan under Starhub, Xperia Z is 398 while HTC One is 469.

How about when you want to a photo in the camera mode but you saw something which you want to take a note or calculate some numbers, you can do all these functions with small app.

One thing i like about small apps is that we can even use those while ingame!
At this point of time, we can watch video, switch music, view website, write notes, take photos, change toggle/adjust brightness..etc, task manager, SMS, tweet, read RSS feed, stop watch, calculator, record voice..and many more coming without even the need to quit your existing app and this include games too!
Games made your notification bar inaccessible, but with small apps, it is still accessible

One thing I like about small app. I am playing KOC and I need to calculate something, I just pull up the calculator ingame without disturbing anything.
