Hi... I just gotten my phone not long ago but realizes 1 issue... Just checking if any encounter it too..

Did u tried submerging the phone into water like 1M before? And after that..did the speaker work as per normal?

(I drop mine into a 1M pool and got it up from the water within 20 seconds)

Because mine clearly got soften..Very soft...(Even at max volume..after i pick it up from the water)

Only after like 2hrs approx.. The speaker volume came back to normal..

Just checking...do you encounter this too? And isit Normal??

err yea i was thinking along this line too..
as i said after like 2hrs its back to normal again..

Ask this question becos initial i thought and expected the speaker to be non affected at all.
(Becos the volume clearly soften by ALOT. Even when its adjusted to MAX.)

So...just asking and checking if other owner here all experience the same issue as me. Hmm..hope to see more feedbacks from fellow Xperia Z user :o

Has anyone faced this issue?

My phone ran out of juice. I charge it through usb cable. LED turns red as per normal.

Took out the cable and realise the Red LED is still present. Tried to power on the phone doesn't work.

Is this the sudden death issue I been hearing about ? :( :(

did u let it charge for longer time? let it charge maybe 30mins..then try to on back...or you can hold power + vol up until the phone vibrate few times...simulate the take battery out case..

You have to let it charge for a while before unplug the charging cable as the battery is very flat so it will not power up without sufficient charge so it is normal.

Brother, it is not an issue but the design as water are trap in the speaker so when all water has evaporated then the volume will be back to normal cos there is another rubber inside the speaker hole, you can see it under microscope. =:p

You just have to download WatchIt from the Playstore then you can configure what apps you want to use to notify any new message on the watch. =:p

Thanks again!! Installed watchit and my smartwatch is working superb now :):) whatsapp has notification already. Loving my xz and smartwatch :)

Not that I know of, the UI only supports a wallpaper/live wallpaper on its homescreen, similar to most android phones.

Those of you who rooted without unlocking the bootloader using the method provided in XDA forums, you guys get a lot of root permission request right? It is very annoying especially when you have root apps working in the background.

I got fed up with apps keeping requesting and with the default Superuser not remembering the permission request, I decided to swap out the root handling app for Chainfire's SuperSU. Worked like a charm. It remembers once and for all. You need Titanium Backup to push the new incoming SU app into /System. To play safe I initially froze the old Superuser app and double checked my phone's root status. okay. Then I deletes the old superuser app.

I have no issue with the default superuser for remembering the permission. =:p

Hello, yes it is normal. There are a few QnA on this matter. Respect your guts for washing so fast. I still have not tried it even with the 2nd gen of the WR phone type.

4GB used by system files like the OS and the apps which come with the phone. This is consider small already and if you compared to Samsung, their HomeScreen UI, Touchwiz already takes up 7GB of internal storage space so you should be glad that our phone has more internal storage space compared to Sam Sung.
