cannot surf net using 3g

help!juz got a xperia z from singtel..basically it is a long story...plz pardon me...i m a m1 user and i using a cut up micro sim on the experia z right now...it seem unable to read the sim card cos i cannot surf net or read news at all..it said no internet connection but when i search for network..i selected m1 3g and it prompt me selected network registered n yet i cannot surf net. i also find that my cut up micro sim is like quite lose on the sim card hold for experia z...is it normal?u guys think is the phone fault or is my cut up sim card tat is giving the phone problem...i juz bought the phone for 3 hours!!

Goto Settings --> Xperia --> internet settings.

It is best to do a factory reset of the phone.

Anyone noticed that Xperia Z signals drops to completely ZERO sometimes even when u r sitting on ur desk at work?

This is a recent happening for me. Any idea what Kee Siao-ness is the Xperia Z facing recently?

Lol but my arc signal was at least better than z cause at least the lowest signal wont drop the whole connection

kind of worried keeping the xperia z in my pocket cause some people posted about cracked screens.

anyone carries it around in another way?

Not really, I have been putting my Xperia Z on my rear pants pocket and sometimes just sit with the phone in the pocket and no sign of cracking.

but at the same time that sounds quite reassuring that your xperia z is still alright

Hi Xperia Z users, I'm having difficulty logging in to Wireless@SG/x ever since I gotten the phone 2 weeks ago.

Is there anything that I should be aware of?

- Login location : IMM (tested twice failed)
- Tried both Wireless@SG and Wireless@SGx : Unsuccessful

Funny thing is for Wireless@SG, when I fire up the Chrome, no sign in screen lei.

For Wireless@SGx, I tried with 2 IDs (M1Net and STM), both ended with authentication problem.

I'm quite sure its not a password issue, coz I've been using on my previous iPhone without any problem lei.

Anyone can give any pointers?

i can't disable my alarm in the morning and the only way is to restart my phone.

not a major issue since i can use an alternative alarm app.
