PC Companion only? OTA not available?

so far they don't do OTA since the last 2 updates

Yup, exactly, wonder why Singapore & Malaysia so much different. Singapore expensive in device but cheap in accessories, Malaysia cheap in device but expensive in accessories.

I'm going to post these as I'm expecting lots of questions once you've updated to 4.2.2:

1. "Developer Options" is not immediately available under Settings. You'll have to go to "About Phone", scroll down to "Build number" and tap it 7 times before the "Developer Options" appear.

2. The option to take a screenshot is no longer there if you long-press on the power button. You can now take screenshots by holding the volume down + power buttons together. Alternatively, there is a new small app called Clip Manager that allows you to take a screenshot and immediately edit it before saving.

Thanks for your information. I was about to root my Xperia Z under firmware 4.2.2 and cannot locate the developer option. Glad that you post this info just in time I post a query.

Yes, you can update directly to 423.

I buy at Malaysia, Wi-Fi only edition - RM 1,499.00 - this is current official price at Malaysia. LTE version wise is RM 1,999.00 now. Both is 16GB.

How's the battery life? How do you find it overall?

Erm.. after updating my phone, it dosent turn on, i press the power on button nothing happens.

It will auto turn on by itself right?

updated and playing!! seems like the lock screen scroll left can choose some apps, but choices v limited...hoping to dump whatsapp there de.

Those are for widgets only.

By now, most (not all) of the apps with widget should have supported the lockscreen widget. Do check on the playstore page of the apps to find out more.

By this time if you still cannot switch on, try holding the power button with volume up until you feel 3 vibrations. Then press the power button again to power up the device.

Chances are the first boot up after upgrade requires some clean-up during initial boot.

Updated too! But where is the dualshock settings? I thought it was included in the new update?
