anyone still using the cheap dock from ebay?
recently i discovered that there is "current noise" coming from the dock when i was charging. the "noise" stopped as soon as i power off the mains.

is it sign of failure? still safe to use? or time for a new one.

I using a 3rd party dock from ebay. No sound so far. But charges quite slow.

Can anyone recommend a USB card reader i can use to read SD card using the micro USB to USB cable. I bought a cheap one from Sim lim square on the 5th floor the indian shop.go home tried but it doesn't detect the card reader

Is it because your micro-SD is Micro-SDXC, while the reader only handles up to Micro-SDHC?

There are several apps that you can use to read your card in your phone using wifi... eg: AirDroid and Wifi Explorer

Prefer wired connection. I am trying to view pix from my camera's SD card. Then from there upload to facebook or send via bluetooth

Sony service is really the worst among all brand. Phone sent to service since 29th july, told me theres no loan spare phone for me. No news about my phone till now.

Called them yesterday and today and waited 45 minutes each time. No one attended to my call.

Sigh... and you waited this long to act?! Go down and give them a piece of your mind. Write the problem down in their blog and facebook. Get a manager to call you asap.

actually inside the 3rd party dock no much thing, how to have noise.

but i encounter another problem is the dock not in contact fully.
sometime i put in the whole night also cannot fully charge.

yup, i called bishan store and the customer service. bishan store waited for around 20 minutes. Customer service for 45.
And yup, i went to bishan

If yall visit the sony facebook page, u can see people complaining about their phone being in the service centre for more than a month and yet no updates.

when i connect charger to phone to charge its ok leh... no such noise... when i connect the charger to dock with out phone also no noise. but when i dock the phone, i can hear a rather distinct "eeee eee eeeee" sound from the dock...
