For those who are supposedly have bad battery life, here's mine. been using it since day 1 of launch. no battery guru or stamina mode etc at all

You can see i'm just a normal regular user, playing my current favourite game, listening to MP3, FM radio, whatsapping, short calls (several calls at about 1 min each) and net surfing on 3G (i don't have the LTE anyway)

What version is the update? Mine just show up to date (350)

Guys, just encounter the problem of not being able to change back to no lockscreen...the option is greyed out. When it was out of the box, it was okay then i itchy hand go and set 'pattern' lock and now not able to change back..

i did not install any certificate or anything, any clue? don't wanna hard reset again.

nope, i tried that and it is re-setting up the pattern lock code.

I have a question for all the XZ users here. I disable my vibration for SMS/whatsapp notification. Does that means that when I set my phone to vibration mode, there will be no vibration for SMS/whatsapp notification ?

I was an ex-S3 user, there used to be this option of enabling Vibration for SMS/whatsapp notification in silent mode only.

Any kind soul can enlighten me ? This is my first Sony phone in a long time. TIA

Brother, you are right that when you disable any vibration or sound on that particular app so even if your phone is on normal sound mode, you will not get any sound or vibration from that app alone.

This applies to all android platform regardless of what brands you use, as long as it is on Android OS then it will be the same.

Disable maps then cannot do navigation/update whatsapp location?

Yeap. For Sony phones, pls dial *#*#SERVICE#*#* and choose SERVICE TEST. Recommended to do this while on the shop checking for your phone. The last time i bought one, i stared at the screen under "display test" and scroll through the colours for dead/stuck pixels.

I have the same problem but mine restarts every 5 minutes. jia lat. Using Pace. Called Singtel technician. First day they replaced the router. With the new router, still faced the same problem. They came again today, told them about Xperia Z causing the problem.

Technician listed a few phones that faced the same problem and said I should go and lodge a complain to Sony itself.

You got try factory reset before you proceed with other things when you get your phone?

Not true leh, I never do factory reset and just login to my Gmail upon receiving my phone without downloading all those apps I install in my previous Xperia V and I have no issues with the phone.

Broke down and bought the white xperia z today... Good phone but I still like my previous Butterfly screen.
But it's not that bad. Feels like holding a block of glass.

yep no navigation but u can turn it on only when u need it.
If no google locations would be good enough
