My sammy note batt was spoilt after abt one year.. Service centre said the batt was bloated due to overcharging.. Luckily its a removable batt n can buy one to replace...

Im not sure abt z batt.. Mayb can withstand overnight charging in long term, but since the batt is built in, i dun wan to try...

The clock mode on dock may b cool, but i wil not use it as my clock..

I charge my xperia s every night till I wake up, that's about 6-8 hours and never had my problem.... So I guess it's safe to do so...

I've had my Xperia S for slightly over a year and have always done overnight charging, and the battery is still going on strong.

Been a droid user since Rachael, and ashamed to say (not saying I am ashamed of owning SONY phones, cos I love'em! Just ashamed that I squander my hard earned money on 1 new phone every year) that all these years, I have been 'overcharging' them cos no choice smartphones use up alot of juice.

So whenever I am in the office, I will definitely connect my smartphone to a micro USB cable and let it charge. It is always a must for me to leave my home or office with it at full charge, so that the chances of it dying out on me while I am outside is slimmer.

For so many years I haven't encountered battery deterioration, well... at least not within a year for me anyway.

Nope, not at all. Modern battery technology is very good.

That's the fault of cheap Samsung batteries. Not true of the batteries and battery charge management technology other manufacturers have used for years.

Agree, I have no issue with any of the Sony Ericsson or Sony Smarphone batteries and guess that problem only lies on Samsung batteries.

The flap on my Xperia Z is also still good as I will also charge the phone in office and charge at home when I reach home.

Forgot where i read, sony phones battery wont spoil easily when you dont charge it to full all the time and charge it anytime you want.

One other fact, sony phones take less time to be fully charged, quick charger or not.

Brother, agree with you. If you notice our phones when it reaches the few percentage before it is flat like 5% all the way down to even 1%, you can still do a lot of stuffs with your phone compared to Samsung phones, their battery will go flat very fast during the last few %.

Anyone using browser Other than chrome??

duno whether its due to LTE or chrome... Many webpgs often freeze n I hav to refresh it a few times for it to load...

dun hav this problem on my tx on 3g using the default IE browser

Its chrome sometime auto refresh the page if it imbackground for sometimes

Yes, if you play game then it consume more battery than any other tasks like calling or message etc.

If you never play game then you will notice that even if the battery is at 1%, you can do a pretty lots of stuffs before it shut down.

those with problem connect to Singtel PAce router, how do you over come it?? u think newer batch of XZ cause the same problem?

anyone can tell me by using Dock DK26, how long will it take to charge from 1-5% to full 100%?

its about 2-3hrs+ for me, which i suspect may not be normal
as my previous V only charge up at 1-2ours max at most

i need some feedback from u guys.



As for the guy that worry wireless headphones got lips syn problem, its best u sent me a link that u watch with no lips syn problem, then i use my phone to play the same link to verify.else may not be much meaning



*please do take note when the phone is off manually, or force shut down by low battery,DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRY TURN ON THE PHONE IMMEDIATELY, as this will make the phone dead.

if u faced this phone dead issue,to rectify the problem, do a reset by pressing the power and volumn up button together to return it to normal

lucky i google ,have such a solution else i will freak out

2G = G
3G = H
4G = LTE

Thanks shin for info on dead batt.

Usually soft reset function can be use to reset the dead batt memory. My past experience with built batt product also do the same action.
