May i know What apps are u refering to?

It depends on what apps you install previously but based on the previous members who have this issue, they did a repair using pc companion and when login gmail account, they disable the auto installing of previous apps and they have no issues after that.

Solved my LED light issue. reset phone twice & realised that i shouldn't re-download the apps from the backup & should download them from scratch.

I wonder if we can clear certain backed-up data on google's server? The auto-backup was actually quite useful. As it save wi-fi password, UI settings, lockscreen information, wallpaper...etc but seems like creating some random problem whenever changing to new handset. :(

Yes, you can. Just have to go to Backup and Reset setting, untick the Backup my data and it will prompt you that it will not save the data and erase all data in google server.

what about apps & games that we have purchased? If we choose the erase all data, does that mean that if i switch to a new android phone or tab, i have repurchase the app or game?

Not sure on that but I dun think it will erase cos you sign in with your gmail account to buy that app so it will be always in your account.

Anyone can advise on purchased apps cos I never buy apps from the Playstore so cannot advise you.

all apps will remain as urs, be it paid or free.. as for game data, it will be gone, unless u use titanium backup to backup game data..

Of course not. It's tied to your google account. even if you have 5 phones, you only pay once.

oh, didn't knew about that! Thanks! :s12:

Which means that it is better for us to erase data on google server first before we do a restore default and then moving on to new handset. =:p

Will do that next time when Sony's Togari/2H flagship come out. :D
