so its trace to other problems for the wifi issue, but how come so many reported issue is with PACE router?

This happens everywhere for me. My XZ has been to 2 countries, using public WiFi, both with or without required password, all faced same issue. Signal keep dropping where my iPhone at the same time works fine with full signal. XZ at most shows 2 bar strength else mostly is only 1-dot signal, keep losing trace of the WiFi signal totally too. Same thing goes to public WiFi in sg not to mention.

the headset sounds awesome!!! but u need to download the nfc easy connect app b4 using. after pairing up , its really easy to use.

have you tried changing volume +/- using the Walkman app of the xz? not sure if my headset is faulty. tried pressing the volume + but no change in the loudness of the sound.

I think is because of the japanese signal strength regulations.

the xz has lower radiation compared to the other brands.

I believe this is pretty simple.

seriously, i dont think it has anything to do with pace router. i got my computer, my wife computer, the printer, my ipad, my wife ipad, my wife iphone 5, and my old iphone 4 and plenty of my friends' phone who came over to my house and connect to my wireless router. nothing happen. not excellent, but good enough signal even in the furthest corner of my house. at first i thought i bought a lemon set, but after digging into the internet. seems there are others who experience such defect. the thing is that its hard to prove that the defect belongs to sony, because they will just blame singtel for their router.

Singtel change another rg for me. From 5520 to 5102nv, everything seems to be running fine till now. No restart and nothing.

You need to download that app first? I remember when I use with the NFC speaker, I just play the music then touch my Xperia Z onto the NFC speaker, it will prompt you to pair first then transfer the music over.

I didnt use any app i just enabled NFC and started using/

I was using m1 pace rounter until next week. I don't have any issues with it.

but the quality of the pace router sucks. mine within a year already spoil. Cannot connect to any of the wireless devices. ranging from phones, console.... notebook no problem.

hello, is anybody doing a mass order for spigen glas.t slim for xperia z ? tempted to try my luck with it knowing there are some sensor issues. but the oleophobic coating on the premium glass is too tempting

i've applied what carlover has taught me.


before buying my Sony Z,

I was using Xperia Arc and my wifi password was WPA/WPA2 type... which is more secure and encrypted

but ever since getting the Z,

my phone keeps dropping my home network

so I did what carlover suggested, changed my WPA to WEP

and ever since I change it, my Z doesnt drop my wifi anymore

very weird.

Have you root your XZ. It seem like the sscreen getting much more sharper and clearer. My Note2 screen seem to have yellowish tint appearing

No need. NFC easy connect Is for other android phones. Works out of the box for me. But seems like the speakers pair faster

i spoke to the Sony promoter at M1 Paragon this afternoon. tia gong JB 4.2. is going to roll out soon. akan datang.

nobody should use WEP anymore. everyone should at least use WPA2 (AES)

or do you mean with 4.2, Sony Z wont drop WPA2's signal?

Just bought xperia z...
how long does it take to charge?
Mine takes 2.5 Hours to charge off wall charger, and 4 hours by USB cable in computer..
My S3 charge so fast.. like in 1.5 hour...

anyone have graphic problem with XZ? i tried to play zombiewood,9mm and game with graphic like those. i experience graphic problem like color didnt display properly and got funny line in the floor of de game like it didnt display properly, some mirror image like graphic. for 9mm, i didnt even manage to see anything and is red everything. i try to run antutu my score was like 1500+ only. i wanna ask is there any problem with my phone? like de gpu is spoil or something?
