Not trying to pin Samsung down but they really think too far. 1 thing, they got far is because of Android so is vice versa.

All they need to do is perfect the software; I mean if Sony, Motorola & Google can do it... it is not hard.

They have many fancy features but in real life do people use. Most of them maybe last for the first 5 minutes and then disable it forever.

Fanboys, I doubt they even use it. Caused it is so le chey.

They should fix what need is and not introduce all the not so useful things.

To be frank, I think they really too much, they have so much variants of S4, I think it is a joke.

gsmarena's reviews are one of the more unbiased reviews I have seen. u do not have look far to see (whether in hwz or xda) that sony's camera firmware is obviously not up to par. I think you only take reviews seriously when they are pro-Sony or anti-Samsung.

Gsmarena reviews seem to be impartial, but its blog reviews are pro-sammy. Just see the tons of comments from HTC, Nokia, LG, Sony, etc fans and you know.

New firmware (10.1.1.A.1.253) rolling out for Xperia Z | Xperia Blog

A new firmware update is currently rolling out for the Xperia Z (C6603). New firmware version 10.1.1.A.1.253 is still based on Android 4.1.2, but is said to bring a number of improvements including performance enhancements, white balance display calibration, soft keys and nav bar changed to black (instead of grey) as well as an option to disable the notification light amongst other things.

They are just good at copycat and regarding their camera app tweaking, it is not surprising that they follow exactly what Apple did for their camera app.
