But for the price you pay for the phone, you don't expect the rubber to broke so fast right? And most people would definitely try to talk to the CSO so that he/she will be able to get the phone fix for free.

Precisely, a flawed product.

I believe water resistance will take longer than normal phone which is just screws joining the parts together. Also like one of the fellow user had mentioned , u want a fast but poorly done up phone which another of the user here might be facing that after a jog the whole phone fogged up or u wait a longer time but a prefect phone was return which run perfectly for the rest of the warranty and beyond that??
Well it's hard to bear with a normal phone but even a low range smartphone also very easily available now so I still think a job well done is better than a rushed job.
All these IMO .

Dun tink is our problem, they shld have their tech n skill. What if they say "very complicated equip, at least 3mths to service"

if the reason for the long repair time of mobile phone is as depicted in the video, I guess it should at least be worth it?

Yup, arn't they supposed to do that? Quality i presume, QC in china. Very bad image, destroy designers hardwork. too much to handle? Then improve your Quality. Else, more manpower to do repairing jobs.

what hawkz02 is trying to say is that if you expect a phone that has problems to be fixed fast, don't even consider sony. If their CSO can tell me that straight to my face, i will accept it. It is customer fault that never ask about the servicing time needed, customer fault that nv ask if flap is covered warranty. Customer fault. Service centre very good service, nv void my warranty i must kneel down kow tow say thank you.

I ask her when I send my phone in. She said $50.:(

The part cheap, but knowing how to put in is worth $50. They need to pay rental, salary, utilities and also the road tax for their big boss car. Who you think going to pay for all those?

Well I guess u are someone whom preferred speed over quality. Thing done fast but keep breaking down then u had to mean frequent trips down, this for sure you also will complain. Haha.. Well to me I prefer a bit more time waiting but what was return was a good condition one instead of one that give me more problem and want me to waste more time bring it down to service or trying to get it working.
Also warranty cover manufacturing defect but is all cases manufacturing defect, I had mention it very debatable. Ppl just dun read as I mentioned in the last part of my reply that I also will not go down without a fight for my right but if 50 is all it take why not?? Now go out for movie or a meal easily 50 so just treat it as that, not like its 500.
Well I just want to say all these and how you all want to interpret my reply is all up to individual.
FYI I had visited quite a few times myself to bishan service center for my Sony phone.

You guys dont really understand what it means to be in the "support" sector right?
They are not suppose to make a single cent of profit from "support"

You should organise a mass customer bang table session with yourself being the chairman. 1 time bang for all...

just checked in my phone to hospital cause of the glue problem... damn

i am 100% sure those flaps are all closed before i get it close to water...
same as others, i always "wash" my phone :s13:

so once the water enter, it can exit to some flaps thru those rubber thingy from internal of the phone
