Anyone using the Sony Ericsson DK10 dock?

just checked in my phone to hospital cause of the glue problem... damn

i am 100% sure those flaps are all closed before i get it close to water...
same as others, i always "wash" my phone

so once the water enter, it can exit to some flaps thru those rubber thingy from internal of the phone

Welcome to the club. Eh siao liao, my complain notes only write black spot on camera, never write rubber sealing the phone broke/tear. I guess, they won't even look into the flap liao

lucky i requested for a loan phone else life will be bad... (not xperia z , some other model )

I also get the loan phone. But the loan phone you on after awhile got one button keep auto press. In the end use a trusty nokia. Phone not back yet.

In truth all those written disclaimers are useless at the point you sent the device in for repair. you can always claim that if you don't sign, you can't get any repair done under the warranty. Therefore you sign it under duress/threat, which voids that little piece of paper.

my take is very simple, i paid for the feature which is "waterproof", now it is not waterproof... i will try my best to bang table till they extend the warranty to cover the same problem again till they found the resolution

make sure they come and pick up the phone from me and send back the phone to me once it is ready if i encounter the same issue.. which i feel it is totally reasonable

samsung is able to do that (by sending the phone back to me) when my s3 kanna sudden death, i doubt sony is inferior as they are a japanese company

**side note, this means all the phone i owned all got their own set of problem ... no perfect phone nowadays **

what sony repair service locally need is to buck up
example apple for iphone is one of the best 1 to 1
and 2nd is samsung their repair service is still better than sony and htc

i am reasonable person also

if they really serious in doing a failure analysis, find out why it fails then it is fine.. wait a few days worth it

if end of the day, they come back and tell me what plastic flip spoil la, try to flip prata with me, put the issue on me

i will make sure they produce the photo they have taken during the process.. if can't produce means all bulls***, i can say they spoil it during the testing process also and i will escalate to higher management

maybe the CSO didnt do the SOP checks
and just take in your phone and dump to the tech to have further checks

My is the cso check on the spot and said that the rubber broke. Replacement of rubber not included in warranty.

Hopefully not. Since only a few user have water problems on their Xperia Z.
