True, I am also thinking of changing from Sony DSLR to a Nikon.

feedback from my DSLR-trotting friends, that the Canon is a lot better than Nikon. I don't know if those are personal opinions, but I do know that Canon has been making digital camera-wares for a hell lot longer than a great many companies.

One of their technicians must have gone down to Malaysia to drink coffee with the local (under-table) official, tap on a particular rubber tree, take the sap, gone down to the production plant to galvanized the rubber. Then she sent it to Sony's China plant to mold the piece of rubber flap, go trhough the very lax QC, and finally sent it back to the technician in Singapore, where he/she will take one day to pull the old one out, and anothr to put the new one in.

I am looking forward to trying D600. Currently this is the cheapest full-frame right now. Got no interest in Sony Full-Frame at the moment. :( Except for RX1.

Irony sia. I went to Sony at Wisma to ask for rubber replacement for my eye cup, 5 dollars only. Rubber for Xperia Z, just a small piece, cost 50 dollars. :s13:

There's Canon fanboys and theres Fanboys from other camps that always feel their brand is the best. Just think Apple fanboys for example ; )

I've used both quite extensively and I won't disagree when one claims Nikon is better. But ultimately whichever gets the job done is good enough.

Personally I have no preference. I think Nikon is great with lenses and mirrored SLRs, but Canon has been making (successful) DSLR longer, hence more experience.

I gave up lugging one around years ago. I do miss the ability to manually set the parameters. :(

Should have a replacement. In the Sony Ericsson Walkman days, their in-ear Walkman headphone keep spoil, always go wisma replace.
