Can you share the url to download the battery patch for KK. Btw, what is the FW version after the battery patch? Currently, my FW version is 2.19.40.18_20141003_8008

any one encounter batt drain fast ? i let the phone idle few hrs and drop to 70% wtf..

My zf5 has this problem. For no reason the phone will be hot n batt drain fast. I can feel e heat as it is in my pocket.

kernel: 3.10.20-262908-g3ebb293

Did the upgrade last night. Was at 80% and now 67% with phone on standby thru out the night. Guess not much difference after the upgrade.

Not sure if anyone encounter. My zf5 will kok up if i use dual sim. Was using my office sim with personal sim.
Initially, everthing is fine so happy. But soon my personal sim will lose signal and not working at all. Do so much setting and even check with my ISP SH. My sim is working n nothing wrong.
Since that few days of problem solving i stop using my dual sim simultaneously.

Very dissappointed.

Hi, for me no issue using both sim even after upgrade to kitkat, in fact, battery life about the same, only thing is my installed app no longer able to write to sdcard due to google's policy.

gps indeed quite weak for this phone. i use sgbus also got problem.

screen brightness also another issue. dim not dim, bright not bright.

battery jiak damn fast also.

but still this phone is one of the best in the price range.

Agreed even after e last firmware upgrade the battery life is still battery.

totally not working... updated the messaging app today... my OTPs are still being blocked... no difference watsoever... i also disabled unknown call blocking liao... no idea where else is there where by can seperately control SMS blocking (if this even exists) ...

if phone heats up when screen is off, there is probably a rogue app running in the background thats why.

Wouldn't actually recommend the LTE version due to the fact that it has the same battery capacity as the 3G version.

After unmount external OTG, the app installed in SD cannot open. Need to un-mount and re-mount SD to work.

The messaging app can be updated via the play store. The SD card issue happens with other phones too so it's no surprise.

Asus is working on bringing Android L to the Zenfone series.
