help with Installing International Rom

Hello, I recently bought the Zenfone 5, however most the applications are in Chinese. I want to be able to download Google Play on it. i read online that i need to install the International rom , ww. However when i try to wipe all data on the phone, I do not seem to get the "recover" option as seems to be the only way to wipe all data.
any advice is greatly appreciated.

At least now I have tried intel chips. If there is a amd coming out, I may try it too.

Anyone find the 3g signal on the phone incredibly useless? I can't get a stable 3g signal. My note2 shows constant 4g at all the spots I tested but my zf5 keeps getting stucked at G....once in a while it will appear at H+ or 3g but it'll like be gone the moment I use it

already found a bug... dunno if anyone encounter..? i noticed when i run the built-in camera app in low light... the camera view will be totally black... it'll recover when i point the camera at a light source...

Just went ahead and hooted an zf5 online just now. Don't wanna spend too much time looking for other phones, so hoot first talk later. Some more can get 6% cash rebate from my boc cc.

i believed all are using the same thing.
I bought 2 Nillkin flip case and 1 of it is not working.
On the "faulty" case i found the magnet location by placing a pin over the bottom of flip cover .
I also place a magnet over the BACK-button of my zenfone 5 and it goes into
power saver mode screen.
I concluded by above method thus i advised you to check yours.

I tested the back button area with a stronger magnet and like what you mentioned, it goes into s-view window mode!

looking at the price, zenfone 5 is $219
zenfone 6 is 299 (less flipcover price of 39): so the difference is only $41.

is it worth it to get zenfone 6 instead with better specs?

Processor 2.0ghz
camera is 13mp
battery is 3300
memory is 16gb

but its just heavier.

i have the padfone infinity. but i want a spare phone for other things like reading or bringing to travel (dual sim) so, what do you think?

if you wanna have spare phone for reading, get the zf6.. bigger screen better for reading. well, i think zf6 is quite a good deal esp they are having promo for the free casing. i might just ditch my few days old zf5 for this zf6. $299 for me still pretty affordable. my zf5 can keep as spare phone..

aiya, at such affordable price, at least for me. i think it is ok. have a few of their product and i find their product (all that i own) are value for money in terms of performance or quality. 6" good for the kids for their youtube or simple gaming needs.

Got my zenfone 5. Play with the phone for a few mins. So far so good. Got to use it for a week to judge the phone. However the internal space seems to only have around 5gb after deducting the os installation
