Encountered some weird behaviour in the data usage screen.

By right, should show the alert and limit bars when you touch "Data usage" as in following pic:

But in my Zenfone 5 (non LTE with latest software update), these bars are sometimes missing and sometimes appear.

Tried re-starting the phone but doesn't help. Not willing to hard reset the phone just to solve this problem as it does not bother me too much as I am on 12gb data plan.

Anyone encounter same problem?

I dun remember what I Installed. Basically it happened over night. This is the first time it happened.
Just left it overnight on my table. And next morning its dead. Charge it and power it up. It just got stuck at the swirly at the startup screen. and stayed there looping forever...

Its back to normal now. Did a factory reset.

Happened to me as well, drained batt and next morn cant boot at all. Had to use stupid Win8 phone..
After i figured out how to do factory reset at nite..

But once a bluemoon i would encounter batt draining extremely fast and hot, by early afternoon, batt only left 15%. Twice eversince i owned this phone..

Will ditch this phone for BB Passport.. will take this phone out when i go overseas..

As far as i know, bars only visible when u turn on your mobile data... u can't see any bar when u're on wifi only.

Looks like this phone will fall into deep coma and requires a factory reset once its batt depleted completely.
Sian... i gotta keep my eye on that battery meter all the time....

yeah. This phone build quality is damn good. but battery life and battery drain is a big problem. It's my backup phone actually. I'm preparing to go overseas for work. so not buying a flagship phone at all. Else, I'll probably ditch it and use it for reservist or back up.

Thanks! You are right! Got confused by this because my previous phone show these bars regardless of online or offline.

$25?? lol dude... there are tempered glass screen protector selling under $10 in qoo10... nobody would buy your screen protector for $25...

anyway normally there is no reason for ppl to interfere with watever prices sellers want to sell his/her stuff... but this is not a thread to sell your stuff... there is the marketplace to do so...

hey fellow zp5 user, do you guys think asus will do replacement for this?

Basically, the extra small piece of plastic that is holding the switch button came off and now my switch button sinked in. Although the button can still be pressed, but i don't feel comfortable about it.:(:(:(

Drop a support ticket to ASUS and see what they reply.

Alternatively you can just purchase another OEM back cover.
