Notice RAM usage has been better optimized. Previously it's always been 40% or above but now it's down to 20-30% on average.

The update is not available on asus webpage.
Perhaps there r still issue that needs to be resolve to b safe...there is a post of batt imp after 4.4?

hey guys... anyone of u tried using the call blocker function...? seems that the "block unknown calls" rule blocks ALL calls not from my phonebook instead of block those "unknown number" ....

was using 3rd party call blocker until i saw this function in KitKat... uninstalled the 3rd party app but den realized the built in blocker isn't wat i wanted...

and for some reason... even SMS is blocked... even after i removed the "block unknown calls" ... all the OTP SMSes i'm getting from online banking is kenna blocked now... although i still can read them by going to the "blocked messages" section...

anyone encounter the same bug also...? or is there some settings (that i cannot find) that is separately blocking SMS...?

Yes, the block unknown calls function blocks ALL calls not listed in your phonebook. This includes SMS AND calls.

Anyway they have just updated the messaging app to exclude bank messages.

totally not working... updated the messaging app today... my OTPs are still being blocked... no difference watsoever... i also disabled unknown call blocking liao... no idea where else is there where by can seperately control SMS blocking (if this even exists) ...

Hmm.. there is a block and white list under contacts. Maybe check if any numbers on the lists?

well i DO have one number in my black list currently... it's some +653109XXXX number... i blocked both calls and SMS.. but i forgot why i blocked it... but i think it was some wrong number or spam or something that keeps calling me non-stop even when i hung up... my white list has nothing...

so it doesn't explain why OTP messages should be blocked... these OTP messages originates from senders fields like UOB... OCBC... these are originated from applications and not normal mobile numbers...

bug still not fixed properly..??

seems that got comments on google play... others are experiencing this also...

have you installed the minor f/w update that came after kitkat? should have fixed that
