Haven't played Rs since 2012 but im pretty lao jiao in the game.
Played as members for 8 months before quitting but i have pretty good stats and quest points so i have accessed to most of the stuff..
I think there's also other easier way to make gold also..during my time to make gold..
Such as the castle quest after u finish u gained access to the kingdom and you put money in it and ur workers worked for u;
others include making the ale which could sell 300k profit/week;
and stuff like making orbs daily and other dallies back in the days. Other than that just flipped and do rune run
Back in the days bandos set cost like 34m..so i had close to 50m-60m++ in net assets before i quitted
Are all these options still making good profit now?
Managing Miscellania, put in 75k everyday and earn some profit everyday by doing nothing. (Soemtimes just keep the morale >95% can liao).
Never make ale or orbs though, my daily run just consists of
1) 8000 Feathers run (280k profit)
2) 4000++ Runes run, +300 Fire Runes from Wicked Hood (300k++ Profit)
3) 6000 Broad Arrowheads (340k profit)
4) Vix Wax (200-400k++ profit)
5) 1 round of Cosmic Rune making using pure essence and teleport from wicked hood. (70 k profit)
6) 50 Potion flask and 50 Crystal Flask runs. (485k pure profit)
7) Managing Miscellania (Done together with Feather runs, making sure Morale > 95% and more than 750k invested in kingdom.)
Takes around 30-45mins to run through everything (depending on whether im focusing anot), and this is enough to maintain my bi-weekly bond and have some spare leftovers to slowly upgrade armor.
Easily 1.7m++ profit daily (excluding Managing Miscellania profit, i usually only take out once every 6months lol) 14 days = 23.8m profit liao, and a biweekly bond right now costs like 17m only.

Anyway, for melee:
A full Bandos (T70) 5 piece set cost like 5.8m-6m only. 5.8m excluding shield.
Torva 5 piece set (T80 Degradable) costs like 81m
Malevolent 3 piece set (T90 degrade to cost), cost like 26m~.
Dual wielding T90 (drygore) also cheap, for main hand and offhand mace only total up to 31m.
But want the T90 2H weapon, (Noxious Scythe), then becomes 225m lol....
If want budget T80, usually ppl just run Mage setup. Full Virtus (T80 5P armor) for 66m~ and around 7m for Virtus Wand + Offhand. Then usually people upgrade weapon to Noxious Staff (T90 weapon) for 150m before upgrading to the T90 Power armor (Tectonic)
