How do you fulfill the minimum spend requirements when spread out across so many?

When you have a family, there are many things to spend on.

wah,so sensitive....how to answer you here?
I'm not bragging just sharing knowledge.
any other card with any better use brothers?

I would prefer to keep things simple:
Groceries: Citibank SMRT
Dining: OCBC365
Online: Frank / BOC Shop (Telco bills and HDB season parking)
Big ticket items: SCB Manhattan
EZ-Reload and anything else: ANZ Travel card

that should greatly reduce the amount of cards one has to bring.

CIMB just gave me 20SGD gift for spending 3USD... hmmm mmmm.

How to spend exactly 20SGD... I just spammed my last card on NTUC vouchers.

Uob preferred gets 10x for paywave. I read somewhere if one don't change for items, the 10x is like 5%.

5% is possible only if you had the (crappy) signature card, and with the points for the card you can directly convert points to rebates worth 5%.

Typically most people will go for points to miles since its simpler and give better yield. Except maybe ANZ Travel Card.

I like to keep it simple:

Dining: UOB Preferred Platinum AMEX - 4 miles/$
Everything else: UOB PRVI Miles AMEX- 1.6 miles/$
If AMEX is not accepted: Citi Premies Miles VISA - 1.2 miles/$
Overseas: UOB PRVI Miles AMEX- 2.5 miles/$ or Citi Premies Miles VISA - 2.0 miles/$

SMRT good for ezreload? I got this card with that in mind but later found out that the effective rate is only 0.87% instead of 2% while POSB is 1.5%.

Did i made a mistake here?

I am thinking of getting CIMB Plat card which gives 0.5% rebate compare to the dividend card, this card has no min spend. Good idea?

I am using my card this way:

POSB - starhub recurring bill and ezreload
OCBC 365 for comex, mostly likely to buy a nexus 8 when it is out. To get the 1% interest for my 360. Once in a blue moon card.
CIMB - 0.5% rebate for normal shopping with no min spending required.

I am a small time buyer only.

Now looking for online purchase card with no min spending.

For me its easy:

Bills (kept under desk):
First Pay Singtel/M1 via VBOX -> OCBC FRANK (6%)
Next 300+SGD -> UOB ONE (3.33%)
Extra spends -> ANZ Travel Visa (2.5%)

Day to day spend (from my wallet):
Amex Imagine EZ-link Purse for anything EZ-Link (use EZ-RELOAD!) (5%+5%+n%)
ANZ Travel Visa for the rest (2.5%)

Special Spends:
Annual Premiums -> CIMB PLAT (near 3.8%)
For things I can't afford -> OCBC CASHFLO (0.5~1.5%)
For clothes -> UOB JCB (3%~5% passive rebate, alot of promotions for existing members...)

I stopped using NETS flashpay basically because less and less merchants support the use of the card, and not enough incentives to use it instead of Visa or just NETS.

Imagine worth it? Coz it is 50bucks for empty card. I can topup with credit cards right?

I think $35 in the Amex purse, too bad you miss the sales last yr. If you ask me I'd say not worth it.

the 5%!!! swag promo will end at August. 50SGD card purchase will give you 40SGD Amex Credits but 0SGD EZLink Credits, in my case I also got a free 8SGD movie ticket.

Still worth it if you like the design, and dig the AMEX print, it is the PRETTIEST Ez-link card out there.

Can top up using Visa/Master.
