There were actually plans to launch a non pro version with MTK Dimensity 8100 / 9000
But due to the late readiness / availability of the chipset, it was not launched together with the PRO.
We'll have to see how they adjust their strategy moving forward....

tbh oppo screwed us users up with OOS12 so hopefully they at least go back to the original Oneplus with the downgrade in given warrenty
