CPH2447 should be india set.

The one i see, in their pictures, the box got the sg service center address sticker. But thanks, will look out for the model no. in case no sticker or just to double check if they paste sticker over china set.

Previously saw someone in carousel selling for 900 bucks. But couldnt find time to COD then now sold already.

I tried to buy one from local shop near little india on carousell, end up had to refund cause the set had issues with fingerprint sensor and they didn't have any other stocks left that can exchange. No fate to try it, and also a bit lost interest liao after that. but that matte blue finish is great though. Like it a lot more than the glossy green on 11

ace 2 got fingerprint issue? totally cannot use? or not sensitive enough?

it was totally not working. when trying to set up it will just keep vibrating and saying to try again and failing. the sensor doesn't light up at all. Also auto brightness was a bit buggy for me, so my guess it's a unit specific issue (that affected the light sensor, fingerprint sensor on the display), but who knows. it was flashed with OxygenOS out of the box for me and interestingly, it was widevine L1 unlike the Ace flashed to 10R firmware which was L3. didn't really test it out more or what though. once i spotted the issue went straight back to the shop.

Hi, I checked and there are multiple sellers listed as from Jalan Ampas. At least 3-4 of them, I'm wondering if they are the same business cuz it's weird to have so many located in one building.

Anyway, the seller I ordered from said theirs is a global rom set. It's flashed, same as the one u bought. I asked whether it can receive ota updates they said cannot, but that makes no sense (why can't receive ota updates if it's global rom?) Now I'm considering whether to cancel the order.

Can u kindly confirm if your export set with flashed global rom can receive ota updates? Thx

i think communication issue.
if u check all, they got the same description, same location, same voucher, same pricing etc.
it is common to have multi accounts..... my guess is the pre-order limit per account so they create a few accounts.
Unless it is custom rom like xiaomi, i don't believe official rom cant be OTA....

for? if u are referring to the china flashed global rom set issues, u can choose not to be a risk taker and take local sets, no fingerprint issues nor widevine issues.

Thanks for the confirmation. I pressed the seller further and he apologised and said global rom can be updated and that he was wrong earlier. Only motorola global rom cannot be updated (whatever that means lol)

So yeah, export sets with flashed global rom should be able to receive OTA updates normally like local sets.

And that is why i hate curve screens. Curve screens can only go UV glue type. But i am not risking it as i had bad experience. So i am using the stock protector still. Ordered this from taobao, saw reviews not bad

And that is why i hate curve screens. Curve screens can only go UV glue type. But i am not risking it as i had bad experience. So i am using the stock protector still. Ordered this from taobao, saw reviews not bad

Sigh, seems like this issue is still prevalent for curved screens. I gave up last time and just went for a good case plus film screen protector. But if the case has good protection, it means it will sort of cover the edge of the curve as well.

I using matte flexi glass from Handphone Inspiration @ Marina Square for my phones, including my Oneplus 11
I mainly go there for their really good sales and after sales service.

might need to check whether the phone bootloader is locked or not, those unlocked have issue with putting on password loc.

Seller might have flashed to global rom and keep the bootloader unlocked so incase people ota and brick the phone, they still can save the phone.

Heard about this from one of the shops at Little India. Think common issue once flashed with global rom.

Same goes with OnePlus 11 as well, got a set from them, export flashed with global, use few days only, region locked prompt popped up, initially swipe away the notification still can use as per normal, then suddenly one day cannot already, couldn't call, can only use data. Went back to shop, refunded.
