Guys, need help here. I bought the Ace2 china set with ColorOS. After using it for a month, the region lock issue comes and I make or receive call now. As some of the bros mentioned here, I requested the receipt from the shoppee seller to go Oppo service center to help with unlock but the service center said they don't acknowledge the receipt and asked for another type. I requested the shoppee seller but he just said it's the only type. I am stuck.

Question
1. How does a china set receipt should look like? Anyone here tried unlock at service center before?

2. Will the region lock be resolved by other mean? Like flashing to another room or so? Tried to get help from XDA too.

3. Any other suggestion?

The shoppee seller link is this https://shp.ee/yzkvab4
According to the guy at xda, he did just go to oppo/oneplus service center and they unlocked for him. Maybe u can pm him there

Wah the region lock issue for china flashed sets lai liao, i kinda expected it tbh, though i am unable to help. I wanna ask though, how did it trigger? After a software update? After resetting phone?
I did use it for about a month without issue. From the initial start up, there is already an error message prompt like below but it was fine. I resetted afew times in past 1 month and it was fine although the message always pop up.

Until recently the call just stopped working probably after one of the reset. The thing I am not sure is it that I have updated through OTA to the latest A011 or it doesn't matter. I read from some site saying it has a reset counter or so. Sad...

I can try it out. I suspect that the shoppee seller is getting from an unauthorized source in China so couldn't produce a valid receipt for the Oppo service center to help. So I am also curious how a genuine receipt shall look like. Seems like now my only option is to bring it to Malaysia Oppo service center to try my luck. Or wait for a china trip to go borrow a local sim card to unlock it somehow.

Sadly nothing, he just asked me to raise return and refund. So more than likely is an unauthorized source don't know from what kind of grey market. The device itself is perfectly fine and is really a steal with that price point.

Do elaborate more on the paid method. I saw from the other site to use the *#3988691# code to enter a code for unlocking. Sadly my set shows it's already unlock which the site stated so far no solution yet.

i think u just return and get local set or other china phone

if u overseas and tio this case again, u sure gg......
now only starting, if future updates etc.... there no guarantee......
imo, that price point not worth the risks

i also heartpain to return.

china every transaction , they will issue 发票..... that 1 is the receipt.
shopee 1 isn't..... because they aren't authorized reseller or do they locate in china.

actually this assumption is wrong.... because if they issue you official receipt, the seller is subjected to 13% VAT.
if you want to get the phone cheap, they will have to siam VAT and not issue you official receipt. Instead, they will just issue you some unofficial receipt as proof of the phone actually originated from their store.
As for warranty coverage in China, you are not required to provide the receipt because once your warranty is based on the date of activation and they will get the data over the air.

(This is based on my personal experience of buying phone in Shenzhen wholesale market)

dunnoe about VAT. this 1 what the china seller told me, every big or small transaction, they need to issue 发票 for tax purpose.

now isn't about the warranty. the service center want the original receipt to verify that the user bought the phone from china and unlock it.

Actually, i have a friend just kena the same issue and she bought it off a reseller on Shopee.
So, she went to the Oppo service center this morning and the service center ppl acknowledged to fix it
But the wait for her que num to be called was too long.... so she gave up and left
I will update on the progress of the fix accordingly for everyone to have a clearer picture

Actually the shoppee seller got the 发票 from his boss and I used that to show service center. But the ppl at service center says that is not the right type.

Ps: the guy at service center also very chuan, I ask him then how should a correct one look likes, he says same same but different without telling or show me anything, wtf.

Ya if the seller is ok to suggest return then probably do that. At least the seller is not the kind to give excuses etc with post sales. Oneplus kinda killed their own sales by doing this, but it also applies to Realme and even Oppo devices themselves from what i read/heard.

oxygen 13?

2. autobrightness , it will dim all the way regardless enabled/disabled. then will flicker sometimes.
3/4 It won't restart in the middle..... is when u lock screen/playing with fingerprint scanner.
With further testing, some of the issues u mentioned did pop up.

1) I didn't experience dimming all the way yet. But I experienced flickering for 3-4 seconds once, just after I played a YouTube video.
2) Using the fingerprint sensor few times in a row may trigger the phone to hang (black screen for a few seconds) then reboot. I tried to reproduce this bug and was able to reproduce it about 3 times so far. Which is somewhat too frequent for how little I have been using this phone.
3) I installed one app (Shopee) and when launching the app showed white screen and I had to kill the app and relaunch for it to work. Not sure if this is one-off.
4) Biggest conplain for me is that the screen of the 11r seems less bright, and there is a yellowish tint. By less bright, I'm not talking about the maximum brightness. Nobody uses phone at max brightness. I'm referring to the minimum usable brightness. I can only watch a video at around 40% brightness. Any lower the video is a bit too dark. For reading text and social media usage minimum around 33%. On my old phone, my brightness level is set to just 10% and it would be perfectly usable. So I believe the screen of this phone is quite lousy/badly calibrated.

Hi guys, just got my Oneplus 11 today. I can't seem to double tap the screen to wake the phone up. Have triple confirmed the setting is turned on. Any advice?
