Hi guys, just got my Oneplus 11 today. I can't seem to double tap the screen to wake the phone up. Have triple confirmed the setting is turned on. Any advice?

With further testing, some of the issues u mentioned did pop up.

1) I didn't experience dimming all the way yet. But I experienced flickering for 3-4 seconds once, just after I played a YouTube video.
2) Using the fingerprint sensor few times in a row may trigger the phone to hang (black screen for a few seconds) then reboot. I tried to reproduce this bug and was able to reproduce it about 3 times so far. Which is somewhat too frequent for how little I have been using this phone.
3) I installed one app (Shopee) and when launching the app showed white screen and I had to kill the app and relaunch for it to work. Not sure if this is one-off.
4) Biggest conplain for me is that the screen of the 11r seems less bright, and there is a yellowish tint. By less bright, I'm not talking about the maximum brightness. Nobody uses phone at max brightness. I'm referring to the minimum usable brightness. I can only watch a video at around 40% brightness. Any lower the video is a bit too dark. For reading text and social media usage minimum around 33%. On my old phone, my brightness level is set to just 10% and it would be perfectly usable. So I believe the screen of this phone is quite lousy/badly calibrated.

This isn't a bug. bug is programming flaws that can be fixed in future updates.
When the phone couldn't resume itself due to conflict arise, it will reboot itself to prevent further damage.
The rom is incompatible....that's my thought......

at first , i thought the flashing went wrong.... but since Alexz_Hong, me, u also encounter..... should be the rom issue.
the seller offer replacement or re-flash, but i felt not comfortable with seller inconsistent replies....so i just return.

Actually the shoppee seller got the 发票 from his boss and I used that to show service center. But the ppl at service center says that is not the right type.

Ps: the guy at service center also very chuan, I ask him then how should a correct one look likes, he says same same but different without telling or show me anything, wtf.

saw this at 1 of the reviews....look like can unlock it somewhere.

i dun think their camera setup is that much better for X6 non pro, and u get mediatek cpu too. X6 is only same imx890 main cam as the 11 and the wide angle is the same as 10 Pro which is much weaker, although in turn you get the same imx890 for the telephoto lens.
although X6 Pro is the main seller here with their 1inch 989 and all other as imx890 lens

I don't think Dimensity 9200 is in anyway inferior in terms of performance:

As for wide angle lens, i think its boils down to personal preference. Although IMX581 could be better on certain aspects, it is only 115 degree field of view but JN1's view is 150 degrees... i've used phones with JN1 to take wide angle shots and the photos really look good.... for me the essence is to be wide enough first before we talk about photo quality....

lets just wait and see what oppo is gonna bring globally and to our local shores. Agree that how wide ppl prefer is more of individual taste, but my view is that wide-ness can be adjusted by moving in/out provided possible, while sensor is the thing that is finalised out of the box. I dun deny that JN1's photos aint bad coming from 10 pro, but i definitely got better image quality from 11's imx581 wide angle while i dun feel that i missed out much from the lesser-wide lens.

-then next day, tell me to wait for their boss come back from malaysia
-then next day, tell me send technician down to check the phone
-then 30mins later, said technician busy, counter dispute me.... ask me to go some hotel to re-flash the phone or wait for replacement.

They sounds inconsistent.....
They don't have a location...
They don't know what product they are selling...or maybe they aware of the issues but act blur. e.g oneplus 11 region lock.
They trying to bypass shopee protection.......i not sure whether will honour afterward....
They got multi shops....then fake reviews...... u can see the same reviewers across the shops.

just don't type things in favor to the seller when u chatting with them, then shopee can initiate the return and refund for u.

the whole return and refund process took about 9 days.

They counter dispute u is before u shipped to return phone right? For my case they didn't type anything on the discussion page. So tomorrow i will just drop off at singpost.

Counter dispute b4 shopee approval. Since your 1 already approved by shopee, shouldn't be an issue.
just make sure u take video the parcel content and when u dropping off at popstation.... just double protection for yourself.
