4 years OS updates, 6 years security updates.

Oneplus 11 launched with Android 13, so it should get updated till Android 17 maybe?
OnePlus 11, smartphones would receive 4 major Android updates and 5 years of security patches. That means the OnePlus 11 will be eligible for the future Android 17.

6 years security updates is only starting from OnePlus 13 & 13R.

kns. i gana the green line 2nd time this time on my OP11(5 phone using OP 2 gana)..... lucky still within warranty. According to my purchase record it was Dec 23. now migrating to my old phone. is OP 12, 13 track record of Geen lines good?
Was thinking of getting OP 15 if it is good now really....
For those that have gone is there a need to book appt or just walk in?
Now i understand it is with the OPPO service centre at "The Cathay" somewhat close to Plaza Sing.

Just walk in if on weekday, today (Thursday) is not open. Yes the service center is now at Cathay, is in between SOTA and Plaza Sing.
Oneplus 15 is not announced yet, and since your phone has warrenty till dec, I'd say wait for 15 to announce(plus other releases during this period, Oct to dec) and decide which one u wanna switch over to.

Got my screen replaced and also change new battery. All within 1 hr. over all good experience. Free Wan Wan cracker to eat. Warranty extended 6mth for the replacement. I am also told the screen issue replacement is up to 4 year. +2 year after warranty end. But need to pay 40$ for repair if over 2 years. Not lifetime but still not too bad compared to some other Sam, cough, Appl cough.

Ya it is the SG recovery plan for the Green line issue. I think the 40$ is for labour only. But do note also that you have not gone for 3rd party repair, water damage etc etc. I think is the standard warranty agreement
Mine still under warranty so i did not pay anything for the screen.

This one depend on how you say what problem your battery have. Since it is under warranty so he he. But they do have a battery diagnostic process. It no really issue replacement cost is 50$ for OP11.
Whoa okie, the screen and battery replacement cost post warranty are actually quite reasonable leh.

Ya but the screen i would understand is get green/pink or any line issue. then is 40$ for the post 2 year warranty and it covers for another 2 years only. Example for me is Oct 23 bought. Till this year is free. 2026 and 2027 is 40$ for screen replacement for the issue. Other screen issue do check with them.
And it is only for local warranty phone. Say if it is imported they do not have this offer. I read earlier someone say they will not even offer to repair.

So they nv indicate to you that battery is only 1 year warrenty and wanted to charge you labour fees?

No the warranty for all parts is 2 year as per the Oneplus and Oppo warranty. So as long as battery have "problem" (need to convince them or mainly their battery diagostic shows issue) it is free replacement within the warranty period of the 2 years. After 2 year battery part replacement cost 50$ for OP11. not sure for other model.

Since i was changing screen, i also brought up battery seems to have heat problem. "very hot "even under light workload and request them to check and change. No sure if anything is caught during battery diagostic test. But warranty covered it.

For mine, I just went for battery replacement for 2x Nord 3, 1 within 2 year warrenty and 1 just expired. They initially wanted to charge me labour fee for the one that's within warrenty, meaning $40 for labour and $40 for battery part. Then just nice the back cover glass broke too, so total quoted was 40(labour)+40(batt)+50(back glass)

And actually if u read both OnePlus and Oppo warrenty T&C they did indicate battery is 1 year. I only found out during my visit. I "argued" that the one within warrenty should at least waive off labour since the phone itself is still within warrenty, but they said policy stands, though end up I just paid $50 for the within warrenty one. The out of warrenty one I did pay $80.

mmmh i was quoted quoted 50$ to replace the battery if the battery have no issue. I would understand it include labor cost. I was told the battery is also change when i collected and left. was only told to give good review and indicate repair took less than an Hour which is true (45min to be exact)
When i left i check the battery health it is now 100% Batt health was 89% previously. I would still change the battery even if need to pay also since it will extend the usage or act as spare phone if i buy a new one.
Especially it is already release notice that OP11 will update to Android 16 in Dec 25.
