Hey folks

I am gonna go ahead to buy the global rom version via the shopee stores.

To confirm, the things I will not get, compared to the official local version are
1) warranty by oneplus
2) esim

3) I have read elsewhere that there were issues with singpass (and bank apps apparently). Will this be an issue still?
Singpass has been resolved in March after govtech pushed a update. This is not isolated issue for oneplus, it affects newly released china phones from vivo, oppo, xiaomi as well

Thank you. By the way, given that there's no warranty, would you know how much it might cost to fix if touchwood the phone enxoutjers the green line issue?

Shopee seller usually provide "seller warranty" for either 6 or 12 months. Just find back the seller within the stipulated period, and they will send back to their supplier to get the phone fixed in china before sending it back to you, so the turnaround time is longer to get your phone repaired compared to a local set. If it is not human inflicted damage, it should be free of charge for sure.

But the caveat is: if the seller run road, then GG :s13: then got to resort to outside shop to repair like Mistermobile etc. pricing wise for to check with them. I am unsure of this

However, i dont have any phones so far that has issues within a year though....

Hi guys, I just received my oneplus 12 bought from sally, how come the charging wire I received both ends is type c instead of type c and USB? I need to buy USB adapter myself? Otherwise I am not able to charge my phone now. Any of you guys encounter this same problem? I go find unboxing videos on youtube, all their charging wire is type c and usb instead of type c - type c

Which video you watch? Since long ago the cables have always been c to c because the dash charger only has a c port for higher wattage

it could be that when they were flashing rom, accidentally packed in wrong cable from another OnePlus device. for a short while 1-2 years back, they did give c to c cable and usb-c charger with their phones. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think so too. Anyway already asked seller, they told me to get back to them on Monday. Hopefully they will change for me. For reference, the one I received is the red c - c like the one shown in official store https://sg.shp.ee/NdovQdd

BTW, if they never change for me, I just buy any c - usb a adapter for charging can right? No need find special 100w compatible type?

regular usb-c adapter would charge, but won't have fast charging since they using their proprietary fast charge standard. same for if you're using the official charger in box with a third party cable. to get fast charge need to have their supervooc charger + supervooc cable if i'm not mistaken. cable will probably be easier to find since it should be the same as some OPPO devices.
