Mine was quite fast.. Ordered on the Jul 24th, delivered on the 26th.. Sally advertised the product as cph2581 (global) but in fact it was pjd110 (China) on the box.. So similar to other sellers, ie China set flashed with Global. My only concern is why CS said no OTA updates
mind I ask which colour and capacity is yours?

I just got the 16+1TB from Sally. Understand that esim won't be there as its a China set, but CS mentioned that it won't support OTA updates.. Is that correct? I thought that shouldn't be the case. Thanks for any advice on this.
Could i ask what is OTA updates?

OTA stands for 'Over-The-Air' updates. it's a way of delivering new software or firmware updates to your device without needing a physical connection, like a USB cable, you usually just need to download and install the update directly on your device when you receive a notification

went to a phone shop at bishan today and was quoted $20 for a silicon SP and $35 for a ceramic SP (X-Plus). seems expensive for me. What do you guys think?

I didn't check the brand of the silicon SP though

Can anyone especially the ones who bought from Sally confirm that they got OTA updates, plz? Deciding whether to keep or return my device - haven't opened the package yet. Thanks.

OTA updates is by 1+, nothing to do with seller

For SP, cheapest is self install. I bought a 2 piece with installation kit, only about$15

Thanks.. Yes, understand that updates are from 1+.. Just concerned why the seller states OTA updates not supported? Do you mean the updates will be fine?

I believe the no ota and no nfc is a safety presale message for those china flashed global rom sets because thats what was presumed and told at the start, which include realme china flashed global sets also actually.
But buyers all confirm so long as they lock back bootloader after flashing, both will work

Ok understand.. Thanks so much. BTW seller explicitly stated that SingPass, Google Pay, NFC work, and esim not supported. So I thought CS knew their stuff. So was taken aback when they said OTA not supported. Anyway looks like I won't need to return my device then 😅
