Updated os recently and now when i press power button to lock, the screen blanks then comes back again. It will only lock 2-3s after i put it aside. Ruining the experience for me. Any idea if this is a setting that i need to change?

Can't seem to replicate this on mine.
When i press power button, phone vibrates and it goes blank.

Does this issue still persist after restart? Though it seems to me like a software bug

Alternatively is to use double tap to wake / lock.

yours vibrate then screen goes blank? i dont get that. now seriously wondering if i should reset phone. double tap to lock exhibit same behaviour.

on the other hand, now can stack 3rd party widgets! been hoping for this. now my home screen not littered with widgets thanks to this.

Ya, vibrate then blank.
Same goes for double tap lock.

If have time to reset and relogin services, go ahead but remember to clone your MFA codes first if possible

If still same,maybe go service center check first

Low chance also could be apps or conflicting settings that try to wake phone?
