I feel oneplus haptics wins pixel even since last gen. More refined. Gone are the days pixel is the iphone haptics level

i feel you bro, but ultimately shouldnt use it as like a docking console and pa game over big screen. if u wanna do that, probably do it on a tablet/pc-emulator that has better cooling. phone mostly is for the portability ma.

i would have agreed not too long ago since SD8Gen3 really is just barely can easily run those more intensive games only and will still heat up too much to be viable...

but after testing SD8Elite on iQOO13, it's very viable liao. i tested Wuthering Waves, Zenless Zone Zero at high graphics, connected to 1080p monitor while plugged into a charger (the phone has bypass charging)... and it can run the game smoothly and looks really good. just a small battery powered fan blowing at the back of the phone is enough to keep the phone cool. and i don't mean just less warm. like actually cool to the touch. as not as long intentionally torturing the phone, this chip really can handle those games liao.

to me it's the perfect use case since i only play a few live service games that are all available on mobile, and those games have like periods of time where there aren't as much content and would see a lot lower game time. so makes no sense to buy another tablet/console to just play those games. unfortunately also using mac, so all not supported. lol. so not going to buy a PC just to play a few games. to me this solution is the best for my use case in terms of saving space, and saving money.

having the convenience of being able to play those games casually on a phone when there isn't much going on in the game during that patch (or when i'm outside), then when there are bigger updates to the story or events, i can just plug into a larger monitor and use bluetooth controller to enjoy longer gaming sessions on a larger screen and actual speakers. but too bad the iQOO 13 had other issues that I couldn't live with, if not will still be using it. that's why now see got what other options. lol.

i think since OP11 was already one of the best for android liao. i went from iphone 14 plus to oneplus 11 back then and felt that OP11 had nicer haptics already. and 12 and 13 both still keeping the tradition of using the best haptics motor in the market for android phones from reviews i've seen.

Haptics are strong, and very detailed, alot of different variation in the haptics. I always play with their o-haptics....

Not saying pixel haptics are lousy, but it lacks of the different variation of the haptics

Ahead of the OnePlus 13’s confirmed Indian launch on January 7, 2025, an Indian tipster has shared some information about the price and storage variants. Yogesh Brar claims that the OnePlus 13 will be available in the country in two memory/storage variants.

OnePlus 13 Price (Expected)​

Apparently, the base variant of the OnePlus 13 could cost between Rs. 67,000 to 70,000 in India. We second this claim, as the smartphone features the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a bit more expensive than the previous generation.

OnePlus 13 Storage Variants​

Further, the tipster says the phone will come in two memory/storage options. The price he mentions should be for the base variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The higher variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage should cost somewhere around Rs. 80,000 (in our opinion).

However, we strongly believe that the company will run some sort of promotional offers in the beginning, probably worth Rs. 3,000 to 5,000. This should offer potential buyers enough incentive to upgrade to the OnePlus 13, along with the exchange offers or freebies that the company might offer.

Last but not least, the OnePlus 13 could be available in Midnight Ocean, Arctic Dawn, and Black Eclipse.

OnePlus 13R Could Debut In One Storage Variant​

With the OnePlus 13, the tipster shares some information about the OnePlus 13R. Unlike the flagship model, the OnePlus 13R could come in only memory/storage variant, which is a bit surprising, given that the OnePlus 12R is available in more memory/storage.

We believe the OnePlus 13R could come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Interestingly, the OnePlus Ace 5, which should be rebranded as the OnePlus 13R in India, arrived in China at a starting price of Rs. 27,000 for the above storage variant.

Of course, the phone won’t be as affordable in India, but even so, it will be a good bargain when it comes out. The OnePlus 13R will be available in Astral Trail and Nebula Noir colors.
