To me.... All phones can have good cameras. Is funny to compare camera specs heavily on phone cameras. Cause it is a dick measurement contest.

It is not that the cameras are bad. Question will be, can you as a photographer, tell a story in your photo, can your photos have a soul, can your photos be good coming out from your composition.

End day, if the answers are none, then whatever phone you go to, you are likely to take photos badly. And that, whatever phones you go to will still be the same.

Specs for phone cameras is just a tool. How well you use the tool, is up to the photographer.

i also know someone who when buying phones, strictly looks at camera specs in a sense that he only strictly wants a phone with a 1in type sensor, together with a CPU upgrade, and has already been using a IMX989 phone (Mi 12s Ultra) and not willing to "downgrade" in any way in terms of sensor size when buying the next phone, greatly limiting his choices during a period of X200Pro, Mi 15 Ultra and Sharp R9 Pro. So end up the only choice left is the Mi15Ultra which he did get, but tbh X200Pro to me is a better choice overall (i had both too)

The OnePlus 15 is receiving its first global update, OxygenOS 16.0.1.303, which brings faster app launches, new widget and theme customization options, better photo tools, enhanced fingerprint animations, and improvements to network features like AI LinkBoost. It also includes the November 2025 security patch and is rolling out gradually across global markets.

The OnePlus 15 is now getting the first global update, soon after it launched. As many of you know, the phone was announced on November 13 for global markets, following its China launch on October 27.

The very first update is now rolling out to the (global) OnePlus 15

The update in question is OxygenOS 16.0.1.303, and it’s now rolling out both in India and other global markets, including the EU. There are quite a few entries in the changelog here, so let’s see what’s new.
This update improves the speed of launching apps from the home screen. It also brings an improvement in the Flex themes department, as you can now resize the clock. Customizing widget names is now also a possibility.

Stacking widgets is an option now

This update also allows you to drag widgets on the Home screen onto system or other widgets of the same size, to stack them. You can now also use automatic straightening when cropping and rotating portrait and architectural images in Photos.

Setting videos on your device as ringtones is also an option now. OnePlus is also improving the virus scanning speed in Phone Manager. The ‘Ring’ fingerprint animations on the Lock screen has now been improved with a glowing effect.

This update adds a new interface for AI LinkBoost Network Engine. It also allows you to receive real-time notifications for network acceleration in scenarios with poor network conditions. You’ll also be able to test your network speed and check network status details, such as latency and upload/download speeds.

This update also brings the latest security update to the table

And last, but not least, this update also brings the November 2025 Android security patch to the OnePlus 15, thus improving the security. The update is rolling out as we speak, but it’s rolling out in stages. In other words, you’ll likely have to be patient. It’s coming, but not to everyone at once.

Can I check if there is tempered glass protector available for the oneplus 15? Also what cases do you all usually get from. I am very tempted to get the phone but the lack of accessories is worrying because I want my phone protected

if u prefer someone to install for u, Handphone Inspiration at marina square is giving hwzer a discount, $10 for tempered glass and $6 for camera protector, usual price $19.90 and $10 respectively. Installed it myself and confirm works with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Got, can buy the official OnePlus AR TG from OnePlus SG at City Plaza. Or Taobao also got sell, just search for 一加15钢化膜, casing also have!

OnePlus official AR TG no problem with fingerprint unlock as well. No need to lick my thumb like S24/25 days.
