I never said miui is unusable, but the ads in system apps is really not for me once it's at a certain price point. And it's still too buggy for me that I have to restart the phone much more often. And for me buying phones nowadays is OS and features. I admit I was enticed by Poco F8U, coz of the speakers. But the OS pulled me back. Sharp has no ads, but it's the only launcher I had to find and install another launcher to even start using coz of the stupid app drawer design
Frankly speaking, just need to disable the ads during the initial setup of the phone and uninstall whatever apps you don't require, after which don't really see anymore ads anymore. Of course some might find it a hassle to do it, but for me, it's fine since just need to do it once.

I am not using all the apps he asked. Can't be I still need to go download those apps to try for him. Moreover I don't clone any of those apps, so lazy to go and see...
Lol same. I alr explain 2 times that it "should" work coz oppo/OnePlus OS clone app is based off whitelisting thru their internal testing, only those that the developers tested goes to the whitelist, there's tens of thousands of apps from different countries, cannot be possibly have tested everything. Is like suddenly I ask if can clone singpass liddat and expect someone to have used the brand AND cloned singpass app

And for miui ah, wat pissed me off even more is that it IS totally possible for Xiaomi to not have ads de. Their tablet all no ads one. So unless they do something about it, no way i am trying xiaomi/poco stuff unless its a really really good deal with good enough attraction too...

after the release of android flagships ,which one is the ultimate pick you will choose and why?

vivo x300 pro / Oneplus 15 / Oppo X9 Pro / Xiaomi 17 Pro Max /

for me, I will be keeping the x300 pro and selling away my Oppo x9 pro . I have a main iPhone 17 pro max for everything else. vivo x300 pro is critical in photography and has a super capable chip for processing too.

Oneplus15 becomes like an afterthought and the x9 Pro is good as a primary all-rounder. 17 Pro max since not available in SG, I can't consider that

from how i look at it how Oneplus 15 is gonna stand out is its super clean OS, SD8 elite 5, 165hz, same 2 year warrenty covered directly by Oppo, dam good battery life and the better price during platform promotional periods. While its camera isnt the best, its far from the worst also, having triple 50MP.

If that's the case I will vote op15. For cleaner os and more juice for workhorse. Work related I still put it in my op15.

but on the other hand, OneplusSG MIGHT not be able to keep prices low for too long... Those who know the tech industry will know the issues with flash memory prices.... So be grateful for any discounted or low prices u see for now, things will be different in the coming weeks and months....

From what i see, OP15 is the best phone to get at it's price range.
The camera is decent but not the best, but for majority of users, hardly matters imo.
The battery life and performance is great i believe will matter more to most users especially for daily use. :o

Honestly if you would to ask me to keep and pick 1, my choice goes to the OnePlus 15. It's that good. I'll just live with the camera because all the other parts of the phone is just so damn good that I can compromise on that.

I am surprised the departure of Carl Pei doesn't have any impact on OnePlus. Carl Pei is more like a marketing guy? Haha.
