Whats wrong of different with hyperOS? Hard to get a sense of which OS because quite awhile ago, tech reviewers constantly praise the old oneplus OS for being close to stock android, then when Xiaomi came out with a phone that uses stock android, tech reviewers also praise like hell. But when i use, like crap, so many things cant do, so many features missing. Camera not a big deal for me, just must be decent, not redmagic level can already.
To me, I don't like HyperOS due to the inconsistency in the design, overall stability and smoothness is not there.

Yes, I praise the old OnePlus OS too. I like the OG OxygenOS so much. But stock android is not for me. Too many things cannot be done like double tap to lock screen etc

Maybe this question has been asked before?

Why does a gaming phone has a smaller battery compared to Find X9 pro?

What is the logic?

could be a few things. could be because they want more space to put in more heat dissipation/cooling measures while keeping phone size similar, or could be because of weight. if play games and need to hold phone for a long time, a heavier phone will be more tiring. :s13:

mebbe snapdragon 8 elite gen5 take up more physical space than D9500 lolol
technically die size wise D9500 is larger than SD8e5 by quite a bit. :ROFLMAO:

i also didn't know until recently when i saw a clip of the guy from geekerwan mentioning it then went to research. interestingly seems like D9400 size is smaller and actually similar to SD8E5 size, but D9300 is actually almost same size as D9500. :ROFLMAO:

Was initially skeptical about Mediatek. But given the reviews can see that they have caught up pretty well to snapdragon.

Remember few years back, many still prefer snapdragon over Mediatek. They remind me of Intel vs AMD.

I watched many reviews from China, seems like the camera shots are not bad. It's either on par or slightly better than the OnePlus 13.

If one likes to play emulated games, snapdragon is still the way to go.

For me, I don't. So both is fine for me. Gone are the days mediatek produces inferior chip etc. those that say dimensity sucks, I will just say they are still living in a well

No choice, Oppo won't allow the OP15 to have the same quality of camera as the Find X series.
But if it's near the quality of the camera of OP13, most people would be happy.
I don't think they will make it worst la.

On par is good enough. Just no Hasselblad processing.

Like wat i said before based on personal experience, IMX906 is not a bad camera that can fight or even win LYT808 for picture quality because i used GT7 Pro and Nubia Z60 Ulta before, which use the same sensor

i think they are close enough that can go with either without any major concerns already (hopefully it stays this way), especially since D9300. on paper SD is probably technically better still, but the difference in real life usage probably isn't much. it's likely close enough that the phone company's own optimisation will make a bigger difference in performance than the chips themselves i think. i've used phones with SD8G3 and D9300+ back to back, SD8E and D9400 also, and didn't really see any noticeable difference in terms of gaming performance or day to day use (for comparable phones). of course, it could be the apps i use or games i play has been optimised well, so less popular games that aren't might have bigger diff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

the phones i spent the most time with over those 2 generation has been Dimensity too, and i'm still using D9400+ phone at the moment. i think the first Mediatek chip that stood out to me in a good way was the D8100 back during the firedragon 888 days. lol. it was surprising and somewhat funny to see mid range phones outperforming flagship phones with 888 in terms of gaming, simply because 888 would heat up so quickly and throttle so aggressively. :s13:

So 200mah, translates to about 25mins SOT, for those having concern about the smaller battery on OnePlus 15 compared to Oppo Find X9 Pro
