Then it's definitely more worth to get the oppo x9 pro.
Haha ya I have been giving feedback to @KeYoKe to get the message across to his OnePlus contact, as well as everyone's responses from here, incl CN lowered price (I believe partly due to not having hasselblad, like sharp r9 pro in sg being cheaper than Taiwan/JP due to leica) etc, but chances for it being competitive vs X9 pro is kind of low.. While the camera is not bad, it not having any latest camera sensor could be a deal breaker for some. So only if sd8eG5 and 165hz refresh is the most important, this time round X9 pro really is the better overall buy

Okay, I have just reached home from the OnePlus Gaming event today.

A huge shoutout to OnePlus SG for allowing me to attend this media event which was hosted at MBS Ballroom.

Overall, it is a small launch event, which is catered for about approximately 100 people, but a pleasant one.

Basically, they are launching their new OnePlus Gaming Engine today which comprises
1. OnePlus Gaming Core

2. OnePlus FPS Max

3. Some other minor enhancements like Touch Response Chip, Wi-Fi Chip G2, Console-grade Gyroscope

So basically to conclude, they are really pushing OnePlus 15 towards a gaming oriented device, hence, there is no Hasselblad co-branding for OnePlus 15.

I did not elaborate on each of the features as it is self explanatory from the slides.

I should receive my review unit by Wednesday/Thursday period.

Shall test more when the time comes when I got the chance to molest the phone and after the embargo is lifted

Initial impression of molesting the phone is that the design this time round, suit my liking. In hand feel is nice, and the Sandstorm color variant is my go to color this time round, despite I am a white person. Sandstorm is more towards a cream white color. The sides of the phone feels special, a bit different from aluminium feel.

Phone is snappy as usual, with the slim and even bezels all around. It is very pleasant and breath taking to look at especially for the screen.

I don't play games on my phone. I guess I will have to move on from OnePlus.

Don't just because the phone shows more of a gaming centric app and capability makes you move on to others.

Is an overall an all rounder phone. It just so happened that they come with all the software mojo for gaming to be slightly better loh.

Don't let this event showing the gaming centric presentation become your purchase decision. See it for other purposes.

Think it in another way ba. Those that doesn't game, will still be happy with a snappy phone since if a phone can runs games well, it will be very snappy even in day to day performance lo
I hope the haptics is better than Find X9 Pro.
