Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 120W Charging vs 80W Charging, and a much much cleaner (though similar) OS. Also, the preorder "honeymoon" period is over, expect prices to all go back to around 1449-1599. Those that missed the preorder prices the next batch onwards might go up in price if the flash storage situation gets worse
the back looks like Oppo X9 Pro, so the OnePlus 15, is just like X9 Pro, in terms of camera?

Oneplus 15 preorder price probably close to what oppo find x9 pro preorder price. Of course now that the oppo preorder is over and price has gone up, so oneplus 15 is going to be cheaper. But if purely comparing just preorder prices and oneplus 15 is close to find x9 pro, then obviously better to get find x9 pro.

Camera for sure find x9 pro much better. Based on reviews, the oneplus 15 camera like not much difference from oneplus 13.

Oppo is oppo, Oneplus is Oneplus. The camera design is different if u actually look. All Oppo main camaras are seperated while Oneplus main and tele cam are in the same "opening".

haha but alot of hwz-ers like to think they know everything and have the mentality that once a product was priced at ard $1100-$1200 it will be the highest price it will ever be. Sure, it will eventually come down but thats probably months down the road, at least not e 1st 3 months at least. Especially Oppo, it has a very strict price control and they most probably softbanned some shopee stores who list the prices at below what Oppo expected them to list at. Look at the X9 Pro now in shopee, they all are listing the current prices at min $1449.

I see, thanks. Because when i first look at OnePlus 15 back, at one glance, it looked like Oppo X9 Pro back.

Global OnePlus 15 will be identical to the Chinese model, including the huge battery

Like the Chinese model, the international OnePlus 15 has a "1.5K" resolution LTPO OLED screen with 165Hz refresh rate, and that combo is an industry-first. It should deliver "a new level of fluid motion combined with retina-level clarity and detail".

The display has a 1,800-nit High Brightness Mode, and a minimum brightness of 1 nit. It's been certified by TÜV Rheinland for eye care, and includes an Eye Comfort Reminder and an Eye Comfort Mode in gaming "that subtly adjusts color saturation to help reduce eye strain".

The brand promises that you will be able to enjoy 165fps gaming in Call of Duty: Mobile, Brawl Stars, and Clash of Clans. In other titles, you can apparently expect an "industry-first always-on 120fps gameplay with zero frame drops".

There's a 360-degree Cryo-Velocity Cooling System too, which integrates a 5,731mm² 3D vapor chamber for great heat dissipation, and an aerospace-derived aerogel insulation layer to minimize heat transfer, along with a white graphite back cover for uniform thermal distribution. All of this should make the phone comfortable to the touch regardless of what you're playing and for how long.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with a dedicated touch response chip that enables 3,200Hz touch sampling. There's also a standalone Wi-Fi chip that "maintains strong, stable connectivity even in crowded network environments".

Keeping the lights on is the same 7,300 mAh Silicon NanoStack battery that made its debut in the Chinese model, thankfully. This has 15% silicon content, and charges at 120W via wire and 50W wirelessly. The battery will retain at least 80% of its initial capacity after four years of use and can operate reliably in temperatures as low as -20°C.

Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 15 will debut with OxygenOS 16 on board, based on Android 16. The handset comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

Also depends on what buyer is looking for. Like for me i would "die die" want to have Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU, then of course the choices are automatically filtered down, since X9Pro and X300 Pro are using D9500

Can wait for Vivo X300 Pro too. If difference between vivo x300 pro and oneplus 15 is just around $100. Might just consider getting x300 pro instead.
It is a good contender for sure. If price difference is $100, x300 pro might be a better buy but like what tkte bro mentioned, if one needs sd8e5 chip, then I think OnePlus 15 is a more affordable option right now.

Hopefully the pricing is good, more competition means it is more beneficial for customers!

There is another group of buyers, call one plus fan. They will still purchase OP15 over vivo or oppo. Nothing wrong, just personal preference. If a brand works for them, they will just continue supporting this brand.

One difference between OnePlus15 and Oppo X9 Pro is the hasselbd. OnePlus 15 camera is bit different from X9 Pro. Think for those who wants faster performance and charging speed, OnePlus 15 will be better

Performance don't think there is any significant difference. D9500 is on par with SD Elite gen 5. the difference is probably just charging speed which oneplus has the edge while find x9 pro has better camera.
