no need, i tested mine without sim card, works fine so u can test it at the shop when u collect your phone

was charging fine then suddenly there's a whirring sound. There's a lightning bolt icon on the notification bar but its not charging

here's a theory..

they realized that even at $769 people are willing to buy so they decided not to honor the $720 orders? that way they earn almost $50 more per piece that they sell :s22:

doubt so. suspect they only 5 or 10 "ready stock" and it ran out for people who bought later. Still hoping it's on a ship on the way here.

Though I should say, if I still don't get it next week then something is REALLY wrong if there is totally no response

yeah, one full week and if zero response people will really become furious, if they aren't already.

are you going to request for a refund soon?

I doubt so, but I would take Simder timing as a reference. Since they are both in Sim Lim, there is a SLIGHT possibility that they could have done mass order and ship together. They would save more on shipping collectively i feel

The whirring sound came from?

Try with another charger to see if charge properly, if it is ok maybe not phone issue. The dash charger plug is easily available at $30+ so no issue.

If not factory reset the phone to try again.

They didn't put address in their FAQ from what I remembered. It is only in Q&A where people ask for their address for exchange/repair.

I agree though, it doesn't take much to tell people how long our item takes to reach us.

I'm curious about it too. Will give Qoo10 a call on monday to check about their refund policy on this. I thought their payment will only go to the vendor after the item has been "confirmed" by the consumer or 30 days after purchase if I didn't recall wrongly.

Is your phone still under the 7 day exchange period? I thought can do exchange for hardware issues within 7 days

If I remember correctly, unless you confirm receiving the item, otherwise the money will be still with Qoo10 and not transferred to the seller

And can always cancel it as long as it is still under requesting status.
