sir now i using my astrill vpn on my phone and connected to either cannada or germany but no update in system yet...

Use usb cable plug to your pc and transfer. Then go to system update and select update via local storage and select the file you copied in.

I rather you download operavpn from playstore and connect to canada and go to system update and check for updates. Don't need to be so troublesome

Yea. Same happened to me. The dl suddenly stopped. after i tried updating again it said already up to date.

I used an app called oxygen updater to download eventually.

Phone isn't super smooth + Oreo update

Got the OP5T yesterday from Expansys. Immediately downloaded the new Android Oreo update using VPN set to Canada.

Factory reset phone, loaded Nova launcher and Google companion app.

Occasionally, when I go to the Google companion app (swipe left from home screen), I get a little lag and this happens on Facebook also. Animation speed set to 0.5x.

I guess this is normal right or everything super smooth no matter what you throw at the OP5T?

FYI the camera is pretty decent for the price, great value too compared to Pixel 2. Sold the XL cos it's too big and I can't deal with no headphone jack.

BTW, does anybody have a recommendation for slim, black matte type casing like the Spigen Thin Fit for the OP5T? Ringke Fusion still leaves fingerprints and it's annoying.

Been using 64GB for all my phones and it is more than enough for me. I don't load music or video files into it. I stream most of my content. I don't take many pictures and install less than 40 apps.

The white though looks so yummy but colors do transfer to the material.

i believe apps will need to load sometimes. so unless it is really that bad till it takes a few seconds to load then i will complain. so far my facebook loads in 1-2 seconds still ok la as the fb app will need to refresh news feed upon opening.

casing wise, you can consider oneplus original casing. not bad in my opinion. i have touched my friend's sandstone case yesterday, it provides good amount of grip but that is if you can accept the top and bottom of the phone is not covered.

else, you can consider buying the karbon bumper case which i am using. but cost quite exp la, about $50

Dont even bother trying your luck with obvious fake/scam listings on shopee. Shopee is more brazen than aliexpress and ebay when it comes to fake stuff or scam sellers.

One of biggest issue i have with shopee is that Paypal is not an available payment option. Their CSO also dont give any shiat when you run into problems with your transaction. Their standard answer is to tell you to settle with the seller yourself or cancel and request for refund.

Lastly, shopee is doing absolutely nothing to deal with these scam sellers. These fake stuff even get listed on shopee flash sale and somehow there are people out there stupid enough to purchase them. When these sellers get negative reviews, they just delete the old listings and then create a new one to continue selling.
