sets purchased from qoo10/china comes with hydrogenOS instead of oxygenOS. hydrogenOS does not have any google apps e.g. playstore, playgames etc.

in order for you to have google apps, u have to install global rom which comes with oxygenOS

I thought you assume there is no warranty when you buy one plus?

Local warranty means the seller good will. Like I think someone said the qoo10 has one month local warranty. Anything after that we need to settle on our own

how can I get hold of this phone huh?

buy in hk website and send to my hk friend?
or buy in china website and send to my hotel ?

Both ways also ok. I think the only problem with hotel is how you guarntee the thing reach you when you are still staying in the hotel

I'm confused. Isn't this controlled by a system?

Scan in, update as received and email customer. Simple no?

Now I'm worried.
Bad bad reviews of Borderlinx on Facebook.
The last time I'm using them.

Best part, friend in HK until 2nd Dec. OnePlus shipped out earlier than expected! So much trouble and money could have been saved!

It's not controlled by system. All these are very manual.

wont have any risk la as long as recovery is not bricked. what you are flashing is just the rom and not the recovery. even if recovery brick, as long as bootloader is not bricked, you can restore it also. unless all also brick then good luck have fun lor

from qoo10 131express . cheapest is $809 for 128gb .using 7x100 gift card . you can bring it down another $21 . so total will be $788 . cant seems to go any lower.
