Ya for flashing, the bootloader is like a lifeboat. As long as it's not corrupted (which it shouldn't), you can't brick the phone.

If newstar has the sets, it's much more convenient to collect from them. Although their service can be lacking at times but collection from 131 is quite troublesome also.

I believe there's no differences between the bands of China and HK set. Both should support Band 8 for LTE+ on Singtel.

Newstar is significantly more expensive though. Why is 131 troublesome? I bought from them before, it wasn't troublesome to collect from them at all.
