Those who bought their phone with Qoo10 gift cards, you can use them immediately after purchasing them yourself right? I know max only 5x $100 (unless someone else sends you 2-3x $100 to cover the remaining), and was intending to use them to save at least $15 off total price.

Was thinking about placing an order with 131Express by today since they have ready stock off their second batch (with like 7 qty left it seems), and their service seems great based on reviews.

Also, there shouldn't be any restriction to use of gift cards on items with pre-existing sales and stuff right? I only know coupons work that way (have some coupons now but can't be used together with the item already being on discount) but since gift cards are purchased with real money...

Ugh, there's just this level of discomfort in purchasing an export phone for the first time and doing it via online... but its time for a change...

I think they lift the number of Cards. Recently I managed to buy 7 cards at once.

Then redeem one by one after purchased.

No restriction of it.

Oh for some reason I read their terms wrong thinking it was $500 max usage for one item rather than the purchase of gift-cards itself. Oops. So that means if I managed to buy 8x$100 gift cards successfully I can definitely use all of them on the purchase of phone right?

Not sure how they even work but based on your comment I suppose redeem all 8 one by one after purchasing, then go to the shopping cart to apply the $800 Q-money to pay for the $799 pricing?

Hahah I guess I'm just a little paranoid that later got some issue then my gift cards can't be used on the phone and I don't use Qoo10 much else at all hence being 'wasted'. Though I'm pretty sure that won't happen

Hello all, has anyone tried charging with other chargers other than dash charge? If you do, what is the charging rate which you are experiencing?

Should be able to get around 7.5-10W. I'm using Anker multi port 60W charger with Samsung Type C cable.

The problem with the Qoo10 cart coupons is that it doesn't apply to those Daily Deals or Time Sale items and from the past 12.12 experience, it's not applicable to any of the oneplus 5t sellers until they artificially raised their prices to a ridiculous $1k and added their own shop coupon, which brought it back down to the usual price anyway and we only saved $9 for the 128gb version, which was pathetic. Last year, it was a real $100 discount which meant we could buy the 3t at less than $500 excluding credit card, shopback and gift card discounts.

Your anker charger (assuming it can pump out 3A and is a USB C to C connection) won't be useless but it won't be fully utilizing the phone or the charger's capability to the max, unlike if you used the same charger on a fully compatible phone like the nexus 6p, then you'd get almost double current flowing.

I see what you meant by that, so I guess your advise is to get it now instead of waiting for a sale?

My anker charger is the older generation, might not be useful anymore.. Will take a look at this when I get the phone.

Btw with such functions, I believe OP will no longer be a "Flagship Killer" anymore. Their strategy seems to have shifted towards having more innovative ideas and charging more for that.

Use Swiftkey then you'll have a row of cursors in between the keyboard and the home button
