I saw too, but actually those comments from Simder in Jan are from "Pick up and deliver after 27th Dec" batch, don't know when they placed their order. not those "after 9th Jan" batch.

Either these comment are input by shop itself recently like what gary said.

Or that two user purchased the phone recently and since they paid more, the shop sold to them first.

No need to pay more la. If u ordered from them on fri early morning, you would have been able to collect it over the weekend because they really had existing stocks in limited amounts

Its obvious these shops dont have ready stock in hand and they say so just to entice those who are not willing to wait to order from them. Sad to say, there is nothing you can do against them other than to wait for them to eventually fulfill the order or to cancel it if you are not willing to wait anymore. Even this Simder also up to funny business. I see from their listing there are a few "delivery/collection after 9th Jan" orders which have already received their delivery and left their reviews. But when i called the shop they insisted stock only in around 11-12 Jan.

Haha it is already very obvious when they are not replying to requests as fast. people are getting frustrated as there is no update.

I personally would have preferred them to give me the date than to drag like this.

I won't mind if it's late but probably to some people who can't wait, they might just cancel. Even then it doesn't make sense because they would have gotten the phone at a cheaper price.. So pretty much LLST at this point haha

How is the upgrade ? Worth the risk ?

I did not encounter any major bugs so far. Definitely can use as daily driver. I like to be on latest android if possible so I usually will just install betas unless they are known to have major bugs. If you worried, just wait for the official Oreo update. Nougat and Oreo not too much different except Oreo is more refined in little ways like ui got some slight improvements.

if sell at the same price as the china version then will regret but these will come at a big premium cos have to order from elsewhere.

I read from reviews of the sandstone version that it gets dirty very easily
