Search the xda thread, there is another version logkit apk to install and you can access it.

Take note serial in *#801# cannot be turned on liao but pdc still work with full port switch turned on

Anyone got it worked?

Depends on your needs. 7 Pro can be very overkill. It's also very heavy, very big, very bulky and the curves on the screen are quite extreme.

Normal 7 is "safe" since it looks almost exactly like the 6t which again looks similar to the 6.

While it is one of the heavier phones, the difference between it and some other flagships isn't that far, and almost identical to an iPhone XS Max. Also big I agree, but I am not so sure if bulky is a good description for a mobile phone that can slip into our pockets.

This guy is so big, I almost keep accidentally dropping it. Bought export set from geeker. I think it will be very expensive if I'm sending it back to Hong Kong to repair the screen.

Anyone else also having a problem handling the size lol 😂

Actually no diff in terms of fluidness between 8gb and 12gb ram sets...both are equally fast and smooth...buttery and blazing fast....

Sure.

I suggest you do whatever system updates you want first as those will undo the VoLTE "fix" though (I had to redo it after updating to 9.5.7).

 EDIT: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO A NANDROID BACKUP USING TWRP OR WHATEVER BEFORE DOING THIS JUST IN CASE YOU !@#% SOMETHING UP. :p

- Go to your dialer and enter *#800#
- Click enter > oneplus logkit -> function switch -> enable volte switch and vowifi switch
- If you don't see those checkboxes, update the Logkit using the APK from https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79577939&postcount=23 and do the above steps.

You need a PC for this part. Go to https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/help/force-enable-volte-vowifi-t3934227 and follow the instructions. But basically..

- Download and install the linked QPST thing then download and install the driver.
- Go to the dialer and enter *#801#. Turn on Serial and Full-Port.
- Connect phone to PC.
- On your PC, go to Start -> QPST -> and run the PDC program in Admin mode.

- In the PDC program, click the Device dropdown (yes, the UI is awful) and select the thing there.
- Look for "Oversea-Commercial_DS", right-click on it -> Deactivate -> Sub0 and Sub1
- Click on "Oversea-Commercial_DS" again and click the remove button.
- Restart the PDC program and select your device again.
- Pick "India-VoLTE-Vodafone", right-click -> SetSelectedConfig -> Sub0 and Sub1
- Click on "India-VoLTE-Vodafone" and click the activate button.

- Restart your phone! You can now disable the Serial/Full-Port things.
- Go to Settings -> Wifi & Internet -> SIM & Network -> SIM1/2 -> Enable the VoLTE things there too.

Bring this up again. Then again, remember to backup first.

The latest update have disabled logkit *#800#, so you need to install another version in the xda thread post 188 or 220 to access logkit.

Also to highlight, the QSPT version QPST_2.7.460 in the xda thread, wiped out some of my folders in my PC, the latest version 2.7.474 dun have such issue. Google for the latest version.

so i've been reading over 30+ pages for genuine user reviews on op7p and i think i'm gona upgrade from iphone 7+.
been figuring out why some ppl would spend on shorter warranty than official store and it seems like official store has changed a few times so it doesn't give me buyer confidence.
what other things should i take note of before buying? if i'm not a frequent mobile gamer, would 6gb be enough or 8gb "safer" to get? are there comparable android phones?

- sealed set means have to flash global rom myself, unsealed probably flashed w global rom
- export sets come w 2-pin chargers
- warp charge need to use OP charger head and cable
- there is no 6/128 config for nebula blue in stock
- users who bought from OP official store experienced sending faulty set to seller then getting rejected because of change of official store (or something like that)

you pretty much summarized it. if you are those that have the habit to clear apps on background 6gb is more than enough. if you are those that heck care and leaves your apps open in background and not worrying of apps reloading 8gb is for you.

Anyone faces issues with the adaptive brightness on OP7P? Doesn't seem sensitive nor responsive (slow to adjust to change in lightning and the adjusted brightness either too bright or too dim)

For $50 you get additional 2gb ram with 128gb storage.

I think it's a great deal considering the fact that no micro SD support

Pro has a curved screen, so make sure you're acceptable w that.

More rams is always welcome coz android is more ram intensive, unlike ios.

Ofc there are other phones comparison which are better in terms of what specific criteria are you looking at - fierce compeition. If camera is not your main concern, I feel you shouldn't be disappointed with oneplus phone as camera is the biggest let down in my perspective. Not horrible la, decent decent only imo. For daily normal usage, the phone won't have any major issue.

Ps. If you're a long time iphone user, maybe can stick with ios since nothing wrong with it. Or else will complain about android as definitely have some learning curve. I realized not everyone appreciate the small little customizable features in android, just like I don't fancy the rigidity of ios. Nothing wrong really, depends on which kind of user are you :o

I will go with 8gb/256gb .. considering the lack of external storage support and the massive storage let me download all my Netflix episodes in 1080p without worry.
