My view same as u. Actually I like iPhone for their simplicity initially but now that I used op for few years, I like op among all android phones

But then the pricing getting more n more ex, I wonder if I should switch. I see other using xiaomi phone like so happy but I cannot get used to miui

samsung after updating to one UI, I think slightly better. in fact I m eyeing on A50s or A70s or even maybe used S9+

Iphone was my first smartphone, price is affordable and excellent os until it became too expensive to justify. Switched to and back few years and last was xr, the experience wasn't good anymore. Maybe I don't have an ios ecosystem, but feel that even iphone can also experience lag  apple should relook at the pricing bc that's the reason why more of my friends changed to android

For me I'm ok with miui lol. I think similar to iPhone.

Don't get a mid tier samseng. Flagship samseng alr lagging so I cannot imagine how laggy a series will be :s22:

I think motorola still selling their phones. Just that it is under the radar and is those mid tier phones

I think OP phones are really speedy because of the OS. I think with good hardware without good software. The phone is purely just normal. The OS is actually quite a deciding factor.

The good thing for OP phones is that we can still use Gcam, even though the camera is not that fantastic at least Gcam is there for us to use which is the good thing about android.

I think so long phone no lag, I'm good with any. Currently a lot of phones will get lag easily after few months except iPhone and op. My usage is v simple, no need super cam :o

smartphone price regardless what brands will continue to go up in the future. it is the consumers to force the price up rather than smartphone makers. consumers are demanding more functions and features into a smartphone. smartphone makers will just have to squeeze in more hardware to meet the demand. if it is just pure software features, the hike in price will not be great. last time we only have 1 rear camera then we shift to 2, 3 are the common now and quad is slowly coming out. camera sensors are not cheap to make in term of hardware.

Qoo10 can do pre-order of OIP7T now

8GB/128GB = $817.07
8GB/256GB = $897.09

this offer is on daily deal so none of the coupon can be used, the only way to make it cheaper is to buy the Qcoins or use the Qcoins that you have accumulated so far.

8GB/128GB Qcoins = 555.61
8GB/256GB Qcoins = 610.01

if w/o AMEX offer, just buying Qcoins

555.61 Qcoins will need to buy 5x100 + 1x50 + 1x10 = 5x$141.62 + $72.27 + $14.60 = $794.97 (should be lesser as buying more Qcoins than required)

610.01 Qcoins will need 6x100 + 2X10 = 6x$141.62 + 2x$14.60 = $878.92 (should be lesser as buying more Qcoins than required)

if have Qpoints can reduce price at most $5 so might have some changes in the amount of Qcoins required (need to calculate yourself)

anybody considering changing from OP7P to OP7T? :o

Sent from OnePlus GM1910 using GAGT

don't quite make sense to change from OP7P to OP7T. the 2 noticeable difference between the 2 are

1. 855 vs 855+
2. 8MP telephoto vs 16MP telephoto

855 and 855+ won't feel much difference if just using daily apps, gaming wise probably can feel a difference. moreover, someone pointed out 855 is more battery efficient.

as for the 2x more MP in the telephoto camera depends on how heavy usage you are on with telephoto shooting (zooming in photography). quality of image is not just pure hardware issue, the software (cam apps) plays a part also as they did some algorithm like correct exposure, white balance, chromatic aberration, vignetting, contrast, shadow, etc to make the jpg image look good. both OP7P and OP7T should be using the same Sony sensor meaning in term of RAW data, should be the same for the same aperture size, same MP.

for those using Google pay for public transport (without simplygo), how does it charge per transaction eh? would it be lumped until a minimum sum is reached before a transaction is charged and appears on bank statement?
