now in US: OP6T 8GB ram+ 128GB Storage at usd579, do you think worth?

or wait for OP7 from qoo10 china seller? :s22:

personally i find OP7pro too big, too expensive, don't like the curved screen and don't like pop-up front camera, in that order lol
wait for OP7 hk or china export

The battery life is not good.... One of the Youtube reviewer said 4-4.5hr on screen with one full charge. Wow. That is too fast!!! If u go out for a long time. The phone must likely will die....

Lol 90hz vs battery life..

Apparently OP7 service center is at city plaza (Paya Lebar area) no longer Queen Street area.

if want to get OP6T, think lazada etc. got cheaper OP6T export set.
Think no warranty if use US OP6T here, right?

they say the previous distributor close shop and whatever warranty the owners are left with also no more le. that means this new lazada distributor give 2 or 10years warranty also useless imo :( the same goes for op3t users where OP service center refused to change the battery...

see below comment by other users:

No more liao, their Lazada, Shopee and Qoo10 stores all close shop. This OP7P is selling on a new Lazada store under new distributor, hence the lack of OP6/6T in their store. Saw comments on Facebook OP Singapore page, their Bugis service centre stop accepting “official local sets” OP phones previously bought from them for repair.

All the more should just get export set. Why pay $200-$300 more for local warranty that might gonna be useless?

I checked with the new official Oneplus from lazada. "You may still use your existing warranty card for servicing"

For the old user. So still safe I guess.

my friend is going back US, so can bring over to service if need to! but i feel like getting OP7 (better chip, battery and camera) instead of 6T but US not selling OP7! dilemma, so shall wait for hk or china export as this is a good advice from someone here :o

true enough, $200-300 savings is a lot! i don't think local warranty is important after reading the unreliability of the after sales support here. maybe not fated to get oneplus phone as last year wanted to get OP6T...

too much ambiguity to guess whether have warranty or not, and ultimately end of day consumers are the losing ends if they refuse to service the phone. so i won't get locally le - unless the price is really competitive. i see OP7pro already 1.1-1.3k which is more for oneplus fans; frankly there are better options given this high price :(

Well, the problem is currently out of the flagship phones, only Samsung & Huawei still offering microSD/nanoSD support. The rest of the brands all don't have already...

who still uses microsd for their phone nowadays?

software updates > microsd support.

Something that I really hate about oneplus phones are the prices they go for here in SG. It retails for 669usd for the base model and 699usd for the mid tier model. That's supposed to convert to 920sgd and 1000sgd. But looking at the prices in qoo10, they're selling at 1549sgd and 1600sgd.

It is ridiculous that we are supposed to pay these prices which are on par with the Samsung s10+ for a supposedly budget flagship killer. And this has always been the case for All oneplus releases so far. Absurd. Makes me consider dropping the brand altogether after using OP3, OP5 and OP6 so far.

Eh, hate the seller not the brand... Sg is not intended market for OnePlus so the sellers on qoo10 are obviously importing them and selling at profit.

The prices on Lazada official store are more reasonable, if you include GST and shipping costs. Still expensive though...
