Actually looking at the amount of discount on the S10+ today esp with Telco, this does not seem like a worthy phone to get other than the UFS 3.0 and the 90Hz screen. I think the markup is ridiculous given how bad the aftersales support it has been for local OnePlus owners. And this is a significantly more expensive phone than any other OnePlus to date.

Might be wise to wait out. Kinda disappointed with the wide angle camera and the mic quality during recording.

This is a 1k phone. Need warranty liao. To be honest, the price is too steep. Top up abit can buy local p30 pro.

If import ownself. Have to add in tax, shipping n insurence. Smelly smelly $120.. On top of it no warranty.

But on the other hand theres no service center in SG for oneplus unlike samsung and apple. If u break the phone, have to send back. But yea warranty does help to elevate the repair cost

Edit: Is oneplus warranty global warranty? Since everyone will have to send back to china for repair i think

No la still here just that it's small here no one really notice it.. service wise can't judge didn't purchase local set before.

90hz sucks battery looks like need 5000mah battery.. Unless they do variable refresh rate.. Think if done phone is not as smooth in some operation.. Means beside the ufs3. 0 not worth to buy.. Get mi9 at 600 can buy 2 sets sia.

Recent service centre at Queen St run by Euro Cellular no longer accepting repairs for OP phones, they are also no longer selling OP phones online. So now not sure who is handling the distribution and after sales now.

What if the new distributor close down, stop honoring op7p as it's comes with 2 yrs warranty.

OnePlus 6T till now should have 6 months left of warranty and euro cellular stop honoring?!

what about Telco setting for local sets ? if export set will not be able to achieve 4G+ ....local set can ?

The price for "local" SG market OP phones is just creeping up all the way

The RRP on Lazada is a good $200-$300 than the US market listed price

I'll probably sit it out till the highest spec OP7 Pro drops below 1k which should be closer to the date the OP7T gets announced.
Otherwise the other manufacturers' propositions might be a better choice (S10+ has gone under 1k, expecting p30 pro to follow suit soon)

huh service center not by oneplus company meh? why the distributor must be alive then can repair OP phones since the all local phones belong to oneplus right?

it's like i bought iphone from local mobile shop, even if the shop close down my local iphone set will still be serviceable (and honored) from official apple service center, isn't it?
