Just got my op7pro ytd. Is there a way to watch videos at full screen without crop into the frame?

So far only YouTube and Netflix by default built-in app support full screen mode unless when download videos use mxplayer to set them to full screen.. but Viu app for k-drama lovers like me not supported...haiz...

the whole thing is gonna flop here lol.

the oneplus is no longer a flagship killer. its just another run of the mill flagship which is priced similarly to other flagships.

but once it comes here, doesnt the s10s, p30 pros etc start to make a lot more sense since you get what is essentially a phone that is almost as good, but backed by much better hardware support?

i bought the 5T because it offered a good experience at 70% the cost. now its 100% the cost. -.-"

i think the mi9, the k20 pro etc and whatever brand prices their 855 phones below 3k RMB or so are the clear winners...

s10 series are using the inferior exynos chipset here, how is it a better hardware support; unless we get snapdragon for s10. people don't have confident in huawei future on android updates.

my guess is those who bought OP7pro likely owned OP phones before and appreciate the no-lag ui experience to put the money down. currently, OP7 have 2 series to choose from, u don't like the pro then get standard (like me) which still sounds like a flagship killer. totally agree with what the lao jiaos here said: export set > local set

if OP7 series is not for you, then don't buy it - nobody's forcing you :o

Agree, almost pre-ordered the 7 (8/256gb) at around 700 but found better value in Xiaomi SD845 at half the price anyway needed a spare phone so don’t need flagship specs

The Mi 9 is SD855, you mean. Bought a warranty set for 630😜. Using GCam, really nice.

But people will pay more for oxygen os etc. The MIUI interface is childish, etc. I don't like that about xiaomi phones.

if you can handle miui, then go for it~ choose a phone that is comfortable to you can already :o

myself haven't use OP phones before, so i hope paying $600++ for a least popular brand is a wise choice. ultimately, what i want is a fast smooth ui and good software support. what you want may be sth different but that's fine too.

cant remember if u were the one whom brought in the early batch of 5T i got mine from. they have kinda gone against their initial motto of mid-range price point

up to each.. personally I felt uneasy paying for a 900 export set due to lack of warranty and the camera experience still slightly lacking behind. they are actually walking the same path as pixel in some point only capturing certain consumers that enjoyed the software experience whereas pixel is latest update /camera experience.

Yerp previously I got my OnePlus One and OnePlus 3T for around 450 to 500 only. That is when I don't mind the lack of warranty and the little bit here and there of not up to standard. But when export OnePlus starts costing 700 and up I get some uneasiness too because I can get a local warrantied Samsung flagship for not much more at their street price here. Of course I can choose to get a local warranty oneplus phone but please look at their pricing and the support so far. That is when the appeal of the K20 Pro and the Mi9 comes in, they are the spiritual successors of the original OnePlus flagship killer.

Dun be surprise there will be 2 T version with indisplay front camera. Oppo already hinted..

Probably they will do it on OPPO first then OnePlus maybe next year?

Remember popup camera came out Vivo Nex last year then OnePlus 7 Pro is this year.

I don't think OnePlus 7 Pro adopting 'Flagship Killer' concept ever since OP5/T? Ever since the price raise and raise.

Either do I feels uneasy to support local set with that extra hundred dollars with 2 years warranty where who-know-when new distributor might get replace and we do know a new update is coming 6 month down the road.

Export is the way to go if found a cheaper deal.

The only reason I'm getting irk by Xiaomi is where the marketing their phones.

Rumours said the K20/Pro is international Mi 9 T/Pro or/and Poco F2. Which irked me isn't Redmi a standalone brand from Xiaomi. Why is XM sharing 1 same model into multiple personas. Coming from end consumers's POV, it's quite confusing to differentiate it.

Have to see pricing first? Right now no one on qoo10 has stocks anyway, so no one is bothering to compete in price. Local set probably also will be heavily marked up if it really comes late this month. If they selling 6T at 718, I'm guessing Chao Chao also 850-900 like that.

7pro not so worth (to me)

7 v worth :o

i thought last week pricing alr out for 7pro le: both local and export

OP7 local set if selling at 850-900 then not worth since export set at 600-650 :o

probably only k20 pro can beat OP7 in terms of price le. zenfone6 unlikely to win k20 price and should be slightly below OP7 imo

Installed the zeelot loca screen protector today. Very happy with it. No issues with finger print sensor unlocked.

Glad I didn't go for the one MH was selling.
