Bro, did u try to adjust your keyboard setting? Took a look at mine and didn't see the issue.

Tried it with original keyboard and swift keys keyboards.

Thanks for checking bro. But seems like my issue still persists even with SwiftKey or reinstalling Gboard. I guess the only other way to trouble shoot is to factory reset my phone and see if the problem is still there :/.

I dont seem to have this problem on the stock keyboard. But if u need to move the cursor, u can actually just press and hold the spacebar and move left and right. That would move the cursor too

I see, thanks for that tip. Didn't realize there is this hidden feature on the stock keyboard, very helpful.

BTW I believe it's due to a 3rd party app that might be causing this behavior. Booted my phone into Safe Mode, and this occurrence does not happen.

Also noticed that this glitch does not surface until about 1 minute in after rebooting my phone. So probably when something starts running in the background, then this behavior starts. Will continue to monitor and try to identify which app it might be.

UPDATE: Found the 3rd Party App that causes this glitch : Meteor Swipe. Basically using it to simulate the Edge Panel that I use in my Samsung phones for app shortcuts.

Wanna check with all the bros out here if you guys face the same issue with your OP7 or OP7 Pro. The cursor seems to be overlapped by the keyboard, which makes it difficult to navigate along the bottom line of text. This happens to all my 3rd party messaging apps - WhatsApp & Telegram

Wondering if you guys experienced the same, or is mine just a standalone user issue.

don't have this issue but i have another issue which is hard to select the word i want. sometimes i tap on that word but it didn't highlight that but once in a while only. using swiftkey

seriously i think the moving of apps in batches or not isn't important at all. how often do people move their apps around the screen :s22: good to have but not a must

agree the long press notification to turn it off permanently you mentioned is v useful, hopefully more phones will have that feature.

i'm not sure if other phones have quick gestures like draw v, o, s etc to activate certain shortcuts? this is currently my top fav feature for op now. it may seem like nothing big to talk about but i'm actually pleasantly surprised how many times have i been using that in the past 1wk+. in addition, i have nova quick gesture too, so really created a super synergy when these 2 are combined

edit: ooops i saw you got it fr carousell lol

who move the icons around all the time seriously?

my folder group or app has been pretty much stagnant all the time. till a point i don't even need to look at my screen and i can know where to launch my app.

The reason behind it's because MIUI launcher doesn't have an app drawer, similarly like iPhone.. that's why everytime when you install an app, it add its onto your home screen, making it extremely clutter and messy. imagine i have 100 over apps spread across my many pages.

The key main features that most people look at is performance, battery life, little to no bloatware, plus constant update. Look at iPhone as an example. Each an every major update, there are so many things they can offer.

hence OnePlus puts in UFS3.0, 90hz refresh rate, stereo speakers, promising at least 2mths update to their OOS. Just look around most of the android makers there.

1) HTC? Dead.
2) LG? Little to no update.
3) Samsung? Yes. but inconsistent. major android version like Pie to Q is still a question mark to most of the flagship model out there.

Just look their Xiaomi range of models. Maintaining MIUI on so many models. how long will it take them to fix bugs on each and every individual of the phone and how many models are guaranteed to have the next Android version?

Although there are so couple of shortcoming from Xiaomi, what they can offer where no competitors offer is.. PRICE. Trust me, there are small population that buy the highest end Xiaomi phone. Because the perception of Xiaomi in the market are CHEAP phones. That's why, their low and mid range always sell so well, whereas their high end which is the Mi series doesn't sell as good as the rest.

of course you can pick the competitor K20 Pro, if u feel that what OnePlus offers does not apply to daily use case or you are not attracted by it.. which is kind of weird.. who doesn't want performance? :s13:

If performance comes at a price, then not much advantage

I will say the 1+7 Camera is the most shocking thing i've seen at night jeez, it is horrific.

For anyone that's interested i used this, followed installation steps and it works 100% no errors nothing on 1+7 non pro:

MGC 6.2.21 APK Port with Marian’s config file for MGC 6.2.21.
